WHITEFISH, MT, October 21, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Devin Harms, DPT, has been recognized for achievement in healthcare and physical therapy.

Devin's professional journey is defined by her unwavering dedication to healthcare and physical therapy, marked by more than 21 years of experience in the field. She founded her own practice in 2007 and, following her move to Montana in 2014, rebranded it as Physio Whitefish in 2017 with the aim of expanding. The clinic stands out for its boutique-style approach to patient care. Under her leadership, the clinic employs seven therapists with diverse specializations, including manual therapy, dry needling, pelvic health, neurological rehabilitation, youth athletics and sports medicine. Devin wants to emphasize the importance of her team at Physio, saying "There is no dream without the team."

Since founding the clinic, Devin has prioritized creating an environment that supports both staff well-being and exceptional patient experiences. Each client receives a full hour of personalized attention from skilled therapists rather than aides, ensuring high-quality outcomes. The clinic's design further enhances the therapeutic atmosphere by avoiding harsh lighting and traditional clinical aesthetics, instead offering a psychologically pleasing and inviting space.

As a physical therapist, Devin is driven by a deep passion for serving others, a calling rooted in her faith. She wants every client to feel genuinely supported from the moment they walk through the door, whether greeted by a warm smile from the front office staff or welcomed into the calming atmosphere of the therapy rooms. Her goal is to create a space where patients can lower their defenses and begin their healing journey. Every therapist she hires shares this dedication. In Devin's view, none entered the field for wealth, fame or recognition; their shared mission is to help people recover from injury and break free from long-established patterns.

Devin began her career at Physiotherapy Associates immediately after completing graduate school in 2004. At just 24 years old, she was appointed clinic director, a role that provided her with valuable insights into business management and challenged her to grow as a leader. In 2007, she took the leap of starting her own practice in a bustling city, a milestone she considers one of her proudest achievements.

During this period, Devin also explored expanding her business into wellness services by hiring acupuncturists and chiropractors, offering yoga classes and introducing a juice and salad bar. Managing three ventures simultaneously proved overwhelming, prompting her to heed her father's advice to "stick with what you know." She ultimately refocused on building a cohesive team of physical therapists and fostering a supportive work environment akin to a family.

Devin's commitment to excellence was recognized in 2025 when she was featured in "Hands on Healing" by Flathead Valley City Lifestyle. Additionally, she is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association, reflecting her ongoing engagement with professional standards and advancements in the field.

Devin's academic foundation includes earning a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2004 and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Montana in 2001. Her educational journey was shaped by the steadfast support of her parents, who encouraged independence and self-sufficiency while providing financial assistance throughout her studies. This guidance instilled in Devin a deep appreciation for education and resilience — qualities that have been instrumental in overcoming challenges within the healthcare sector.

In addition to her academic credentials, Devin holds several certifications that enhance her expertise. She obtained a dry needling certification in 2019 and also holds a yoga certification. These qualifications allow her to offer specialized treatments within her clinic and teach yoga twice weekly at a local studio.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Devin is committed to civic engagement and community enrichment. She supports organizations such as DREAM Adaptive Recreation and Compassion International through donations and contributes to the North Valley Food Bank. Her involvement extends to singing at Canvas Church, reflecting her dedication to service beyond clinical practice.

Devin's personal life is rooted in Whitefish, where she lives with her husband and two sons. Her husband manages billing for Physio Whitefish, improving operational efficiency and reducing costs for the clinic, while also working as a real estate agent and remodeling their home.

Outside of work, Devin enjoys spending time with family, hiking, practicing yoga and playing guitar. She previously participated in open mic nights where she performed original acoustic indie songs. The family shares their home with an English Cream Retriever dog.

Looking ahead, Devin is optimistic about introducing new offerings at Physio Whitefish despite industry-wide challenges with insurance reimbursement and therapist compensation. One promising possibility is SoftWave technology for treating chronically damaged tissue, which she hopes will further improve patient outcomes, though its lack of insurance coverage presents new hurdles. While expansion is no longer her primary focus, she is confident that keeping the clinic at its current size will allow her to deliver high-quality care while finding new ways to serve patients.
