BELLEVUE, WA, October 21, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cher Rowland Henton has been recognized for achievement in business development and telecommunications.

Marked by three decades and counting of diverse experience and continuous professional growth, Cher currently serves as chief business development officer of CostQuest Associates, LLC, a position she has held since 2025. In her role, she is responsible for identifying diversification and growth opportunities for the company's new-venture projects, which focus on technology initiatives that require research and development investment. Her work involves researching high-growth markets that leverage the firm's established expertise in broadband, taking inventory of organizational assets and skills, and connecting these core competencies to expansion opportunities beyond the traditional broadband sector.

In 2025, Ms. Henton also served as assistant vice president of business development at CostQuest. During her tenure in this capacity, she contributed to the company's strategic direction before advancing to her current leadership role.

Before joining CostQuest Associates, Ms. Henton spent more than a decade as the owner and principal consultant of Wireless Testing (WiTest) Incorporated, a small business specializing in wireless industry consulting and cellular product introduction. From 2015 to 2025, she guided entrepreneurs and enterprises through complex challenges that had proven too difficult to resolve internally.

Drawing on her extensive industry connections and technical expertise, Ms. Henton worked directly with engineering teams to help them identify and address technical obstacles while collaborating with business development, marketing and finance teams to ensure that deals were structured appropriately. Her efforts often centered on helping clients integrate their products or technologies with major wireless carriers through large-scale proof-of-concept projects. Over the course of her leadership at WiTest, she consistently bridged gaps between companies and vendors to move initiatives forward — an accomplishment she considers her most notable professional milestone.

Ms. Henton additionally served as chairman of the board of RailHaul Technologies Inc. — an energy-harvesting technology company that uses renewable resources to reduce diesel fuel consumption — from 2024 to 2025, providing valuable guidance during a pivotal period for the organization.

From 2011 to 2015, Ms. Henton excelled as an account manager with the communications equipment developer Anritsu in the Greater Seattle Area. In this capacity, she managed key client relationships within the telecommunications and data center sectors and was inducted into the Winner's Circle in 2013 for her outstanding sales performance.

As an independent consultant in Bellevue and Morgan Hill, California, from 2008 to 2011, Ms. Henton offered specialized services tailored to the needs of clients in telecommunications, wireless technology and go-to-market strategies.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Henton worked as a radio network engineer at T-Mobile in Bellevue from 2006 to 2008, contributing her technical expertise to support network operations amid rapid industry evolution. She began her professional journey at Agilent Technologies, where she served as a microwave engineer from 1997 to 2006 across locations in Washington and California. This foundational experience provided her with a strong technical background that would inform her later roles in business development, consulting and management.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Ms. Henton earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering magna cum laude from The Ohio State University in 1997 before going on to obtain a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 2001. To further enhance her leadership abilities and business acumen, she completed the Executive Development Program in Business Administration and Management at the University of Washington's Michael G. Foster School of Business in 2012.

Reflecting on her storied journey to date, Ms. Henton attributes much of her professional advancement to her unique ability to understand both the technical and business aspects of complex problems while maintaining a high level of integrity throughout her work and within her teams. This dual perspective, as well as the genuine enjoyment she derives from developing people, has allowed her to solve both financial and technical challenges.

Also known for her civic-minded contributions, Ms. Henton has been an advisory board member for the computer science department at Bellevue College since 2017, contributing her insights during the division's formative years and supporting its ongoing development. Additionally, she is an active member of Keiretsu Forum, a global angel investor network, that has provided access to numerous investment opportunities aligned with her interests in innovation and technology.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Ms. Henton is dedicated to animal welfare, as evidenced through her outstanding efforts to foster high-risk shelter dogs — particularly "death row" animals considered unadoptable by others — with a recent milestone marked by the adoption of her 15th foster dog.

Determined to further her impact in the coming years, Ms. Henton aims to support the responsible buildout of United States artificial intelligence infrastructure — emphasizing responsibility as central to this mission — reflecting her ongoing commitment to maintaining ethical progress within technology sectors and helping those in need through everything she does.
