FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, October 21, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chad Volkert has been recognized for achievement in the consulting, staffing, and legal industries.
Mr. Volkert's professional journey spans more than 27 years, marked by a series of leadership milestones in the business world especially in the consulting, staffing and legal sectors. In 2022, he was named global head of legal consulting at Protiviti Inc., based in the Menlo Park, CA area. In 2025, Mr. Volkert was named a Global C-suite Leader for the executive team at Protiviti and in that capacity, Mr. Volkert is responsible for managing client relationships at senior executive levels across the United States and internationally while interacting with his internal leadership teams to ensure extraordinary results. His leadership role centers on strategic business advisory consulting, guiding clients through complex problem-solving, and leading transformational engagements that focus on artificial intelligence, AI governance, and business and legal risk management. He coordinates Protiviti's capabilities across legal, accounting, business transformation, and digital technology to address clients' needs and ensure their objectives are achieved. By leveraging the parent company, Robert Half's staffing resources, he offers flexible solutions for both full-time and contract talent, providing clients with scalable engagement experiences distinct from traditional consulting models.
Prior to his positions at Protiviti, Mr. Volkert was senior district president and executive managing director at Robert Half from 2016 to 2022. During this period, he played a significant role in expanding the company's reach and influence in the legal recruitment and consulting sectors. His responsibilities included building and overseeing large-scale operations along with contributing to the organization's strategic direction.
As one of the early leaders of the legal recruitment and staffing practice, he helped build the division from its inception into a global operation with more than 300 legal recruiters serving law firms and corporations across North America and abroad. In 2009, recognizing an opportunity to develop a dedicated legal and technology consulting practice, he presented a business plan to the company's chief executive officer and chief operating officer. Launching the practice under the Robert Half brand with a small team, he grew it into a global business that later transitioned into Protiviti five years ago, where it continues to thrive under his leadership.
Additionally, Mr. Volkert served as executive director for Robert Half Legal from 2005 to 2016 and as executive managing director for Robert Half Legal Consulting Solutions from 2010 to 2022. These overlapping roles reflect his integral involvement in both operational leadership and strategic development within the organization.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Volkert worked at the law firm of McGrane & Nosich from 1998 to 1999 before transitioning into the corporate world and various leadership roles.
Throughout his tenure with Robert Half and Protiviti, Mr. Volkert has been called upon to serve on several founding committees within the organization, including those overseeing its large strategic account business and its firmwide approach to artificial intelligence. He is a member of the Florida Bar, the Dade County Bar Association and the Broward County Bar Association.
Among his most notable achievements are bringing together individuals seeking new opportunities with organizations in urgent need of talent and delivering solutions that drive growth for clients facing operational challenges. He finds particular reward in witnessing how these efforts impact both individual careers and client organizations over time. He feels privileged to have been able to hire and mentor thousands of professionals over the years and help them advance in their careers.
Mr. Volkert's academic background includes earning a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 1998. He previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in political science at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, in 1995. Furthering his expertise in business management, he completed an executive program in finance and accounting at Columbia Business School in 2009.
His commitment to civic engagement is reflected in his service as an elected councilman for Sea Ranch Lakes in Broward County, Florida — a role he initially held for two years before returning after being re-elected in 2024. He also serves as director for a YMCA-affiliated organization and sits on the board of the Institute of Faith and Culture. As a mentor for various community organizations, Mr. Volkert supports up-and-coming business leaders through guidance rooted in experience.
Recognition for excellence has come through a number of internal and external honors, and he fondly remembers his first Top Performer Award (2003) and being involved in a number of Enterprise Collaboration Awards at Protiviti's Reach for the Stars global awards celebration.
Born in Buffalo, New York, in 1972, Mr. Volkert relocated with his family to Sarasota, Florida, in 1982 before moving to Miami for higher education and professional pursuits. Married since 2003, he enjoys spending time with his wife — whose early suggestion led him to join Robert Half — and their two daughters: one currently attending university and another in middle school. The family shares a passion for international travel influenced by his wife's upbringing in Spain.
Outside of work commitments, Mr. Volkert enjoys playing tennis, working out, and reading several books simultaneously due to his interest in a variety of subjects. He remains active in church life and faith-based leadership initiatives.
Looking ahead, Mr. Volkert intends to continue working strategically amid ongoing technological transformation driven by artificial intelligence while helping business leaders recognize that such change should advance both organizational goals and individual careers. He plans to remain dedicated to mentoring others, supporting causes related to Alzheimer's disease and breast cancer through community involvement with organizations such as the Institute of Faith and Culture, and cherishing meaningful time with family — guided by a belief that legacy is defined by positive impact on others rather than by personal achievement alone.
