NAPERVILLE, IL, October 22, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jean Kuhn has been recognized for achievement in marketing and business growth strategy.
Marked by more than four decades of experience, Ms. Kuhn's career reflects a remarkable trajectory of entrepreneurship, marketing strategy and dedication to empowering others. She is the founder and chief executive officer of Bounce Solutions LLC — established in 2006 — where she consults with small business clients on marketing and sales strategy, coaches women business owners over 50.
Ms. Kuhn's expertise in marketing strategy and business growth strategy has established her as a trusted resource for small business owners who seek to expand their reach and profitability. She is also recognized for her leadership within the wider professional community, having served as past president of Business Network International as a member of the Chamber of Commerce, and on various business boards.
From 2002 to 2016, Ms. Kuhn owned and operated two Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory franchise locations in LaGrange and Orland Park, Illinois. She is credited with turning around her first franchise — which was bankrupt when she acquired it — within one year and adding $100,000 to its bottom line. Four years later, she bought a second bankrupt RMCF and turned it around in 12 months with another $100,000 to its bottom line. Recognizing a gap in support for fellow franchisees, she began hosting free annual conferences to share her insights since the franchise system only provided support conferences every other year.
Early in her professional journey, Ms. Kuhn worked as a data entry clerk at Postalia Postage Meters until 1985. When her first child was born that year, she made the pivotal decision not to return to her corporate job. Her employer equipped her with a home computer, making her one of the earliest telecommuters at that time. She then moved into direct sales, so her time was her own.
Ms. Kuhn's higher education background includes coursework in business, which has contributed to her ability to build and sustain multiple ventures across diverse industries. She has worked with several mentors choosing to spend her money on what she needed to know, instead of a formal education.
Reflecting on her storied journey to date, Ms. Kuhn credits her success to a philosophy inspired by Zig Ziglar: achieving one's personal goals by helping others fulfill theirs. This principle has guided her approach to business and client relationships.
Also known for making significant contributions to civic organizations and creative projects, Ms. Kuhn supports dog rescues as well as Preborn, underscoring her commitment to animal welfare and charitable causes. She also spearheaded a Fudge for Soldiers campaign in the mid 2000's, earning awards from both the Chamber of Commerce and the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Franchise System for this initiative.
Ms. Kuhn is also an accomplished author whose publications include "Move the Room: The Art of Designing Experiences So Compelling, Breakthroughs Become Inevitable and Profits Become Scalable," released in 2026. Completing this book stands as her most notable professional achievement; the process led her to realize that she had been supporting small business owners for nearly 40 years without fully recognizing the continuity of this work throughout her career. She also authored the 2012 work "F * Ups Franchisee Screw-Ups That Can Cost You Thousands." It details 10 critical mistakes from her own experience along with practical solutions for new and aspiring franchisees.
Beyond the publishing realm, Ms. Kuhn engages in creative projects such as leading business training retreats for clients. In 2023, during a retreat in Nashville, Tennessee, she and her clients wrote a song celebrating women over 60 who continue building their careers rather than retiring — an experience that clarified her focus on supporting this demographic.
In her personal life, Ms. Kuhn has been happily married for over 46 years and describes her husband as her greatest supporter, particularly during challenging times such as losing $350,000 on a business venture without ever facing criticism from him. Together they are the proud parents of three adult children: two sons with entrepreneurial instincts who hold full-time jobs and a daughter who works as a full-time nurse. She cherishes spending time with her two young grandchildren and dedicated "Move the Room" to them in hopes they will embrace entrepreneurship for the autonomy it offers over one's time, money and life decisions.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Kuhn enjoys caring for her rescue dogs — currently sharing her home with one Australian cattle dog and one Bruno, a lazy mixed breed who loves his family, and they love him — taking weekend car trips, traveling, fine dining and spending time with her family. Looking to the future with determination, she aims to help thousands through business retreats and individual coaching focused on meaningful outcomes and increased revenue.
Through decades of entrepreneurship, mentorship and advocacy for women in business, Ms. Kuhn continues to shape the landscape of small business growth while inspiring others with her leadership, generosity and resilience at every stage of her life and career.
