Ms. Dillon's career spans more than five decades and is marked by a distinguished tenure as a California-based transpersonal marriage and family counselor and licensed clinical social worker. Pioneering emotional realignment, conscious parenting and therapeutic innovation, Ms. Dillon has served as the founder of Emotional Pro in 1995 and Emotional Mastery for Life since 2017. Through these platforms, she has continued her private practice, rebranding her services to focus on helping individuals achieve emotional mastery for life. Her expertise in realigning with emotions, mastering anger, ending co-dependence and parenting consciously has established her as a leader in her field.

Ms. Dillon's experience extends to coaching clients in the U.S., Mexico, Ireland, and Australia since 2001. Additionally, since 2013, she has contributed as a parenting expert, speaker and global presence ambassador with Parenting 2.0, sharing her insights on conscious parenting with audiences worldwide. Parenting 2.0 focuses on teaching life skills to children, in preparation for their adult lives, which includes focusing on emotional literacy and ending co-dependence. Ms. Dillon has presented at numerous national and international conferences for more than two decades, beginning in 1998. Recognized for her work as a professional speaker, coach and webinar leader for more than 45 years, Ms. Dillon has also taught in local schools, colleges, businesses, and online platforms both domestically and abroad, including Australia and China.

Between 2013 and the present, Ms. Dillon expanded her influence as an educator and mentor. Her dedication to academia was evident from her role as a continuing education provider for California nurses and probation officers for 8 years, beginning in 1977, working with William Shear and Associates in Mill Valley, California between 1992 and 2000.

Among her earlier roles, Ms. Dillon spent 1972 to 1984 as the founder and owner of Emotional Pro. Her diverse background also included working as a psychological tester at the U.S. Army Education Center in 1970. Earlier still, she was a staff member for Lyndon Johnson's War on Poverty initiative at Neighborhood House from 1966 to 1967, following her role as a secretary for the China Project at the University of Washington between 1963 and 1966. Before 1967, Ms. Dillon held various roles in diverse settings, including Seattle low-income housing projects, Neighborhood House, a Japanese-American church community, an early drug treatment center, suicide prevention centers and vocational rehabilitation programs for mentally challenged young adults.

Ms. Dillon's educational background laid a strong foundation for her achievements. She attended The College of William and Mary, then received a Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis in social welfare from the University of Washington in Seattle in 1966, and a Master of Social Welfare from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1972. Throughout her academic journey, Ms. Dillon pursued advanced training that included eye movement desensitization and reprocessing certification, Gestalt and Multiple psychotherapy, Systems Family Therapy, lifetime licensure as an instructor for California community colleges, licensure as a clinical social worker in California, and licensure as a marriage, family, and child counselor.

Recognized through memberships in several industry organizations, Ms. Dillon maintains affiliations with the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and The Wellness Universe. She is a former member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) for 30 years, where she participated in professional development programs and served four years with board membership with NSA Northern California.

Ms. Dillon's civic involvement is extensive. She served as a founding board member for California Parents United, was a fundraiser for Albany Public School's music program, and served as a supervisor for marriage and family therapist and licensed clinical social worker interns at the Apple Family Center. Additionally, Ms. Dillon served in various volunteer roles and was active on several boards.

A ten-time Amazon best-selling author both nationally and internationally, Ms. Dillon's extensive creative output included authoring "Emotions in Motion: Mastering Life's Built-in Navigation System," published by BWB Publications, contributing to "Happiness Is a Decision of the Heart" and "Choosing Love as a Way of Life," via Insight Publishing Company, authoring a seven-unit series including "Exploring Anger with Your Child" via Enchante Publishing Company and contributing chapters to five volumes of "The Wellness Universe Guide to Complete Self Care."
