FREDERICK, CO, October 27, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Neil Morris has been recognized for achievement in artificial intelligence.

Mr. Morris has established himself as a leading authority in artificial intelligence strategy, systems design and enterprise architecture, and the application of the theory of constraints to AI adoption. As founder of Authentic Tech Leadership since 2025, he partners daily with client organizations, advising leadership teams on measuring AI return on investment and scaling strategies. His expertise is sought after across aerospace & defense, manufacturing, high tech, financial services and the public sector. In this role, Mr. Morris also authors white papers and nonfiction works focused on effective AI implementation, further cementing his reputation as an industry thought leader.

In 2026, Mr. Morris additionally assumed the role of managing director for the AI practice at The Doyle Group in Colorado. Here, he continues to guide organizations through the complexities of AI adoption, drawing from his extensive experience to help clients avoid common pitfalls and maximize their technology investments. He also serves as a fractional chief technology officer for Critical Reach beginning in 2025, providing strategic direction and technical leadership to organizations navigating digital transformation.

His career includes serving as vice president of strategic partnerships at Iterate.ai starting in 2026, where he fosters collaborations that drive innovation in artificial intelligence applications. Also in 2026, Mr. Morris began partnering with Trility Consulting, contributing his insights on AI, security, and technology strategy.

Since 2018, Mr. Morris has owned and instructed at Ohana Martial Arts Academy LLC in Colorado alongside his wife. Their academy reflects his commitment to discipline and lifelong learning, values that have influenced his approach to both business and technology.

From 2024 to 2026, Mr. Morris served as global head of IT at Redaptive Inc., overseeing technology operations during a period of significant organizational growth. He previously served as chief information officer at Ball Aerospace, where he led the company through its acquisition by BAE Systems. Prior to that, he was chief information officer at Maxar Technologies. During his tenure at Maxar Technologies, he also held roles as senior director of infrastructure and enterprise cloud architect.

One of Mr. Morris's most notable achievements occurred while at Maxar Technologies when he led the transition of its workforce, consisting of over 3,000 employees, from in-office to fully remote work within three days at the onset of COVID-19. This rapid shift ensured business continuity for a major defense and aerospace company during unprecedented circumstances.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Morris was senior manager for life safety systems at ADT. His broad range of experience across multiple industries has positioned him as an expert resource for boards and executive teams seeking guidance on AI strategy.

Mr. Morris's professional affiliations include membership in the Society for Information Management, ISACA, Private Directors Association, IEEE, Forbes Technology Council, National Speakers Association, Colorado Space Business Roundtable, Information Systems Security Association International and Project Management Institute. He previously served as membership chair for the Colorado CIO Inspire Group and as a board member for the Colorado Technology Association.

His academic background includes a Master of Science in information systems management and a Bachelor of Science in business management. The perseverance required to complete these degrees was shaped by his upbringing and inspired by his father's example of hard work and resilience, as the youngest child in a large family, supported by his father through blue-collar work at Pepsi. Mr. Morris became a father himself at age sixteen and worked three jobs while pursuing his education; an experience that instilled grit and determination, which continue to drive his professional success.

Beyond his corporate career, Mr. Morris has demonstrated civic engagement through roles such as an advisor to the Strategic AI Program at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs since 2024 and a board member of the SYNGAP1 Foundation from 2022 to 2024.

He is also an accomplished author with several publications to his name. His book "Why AI Fails: The Leadership Discipline Behind the 5% Who Succeed," published earlier this year after leaving his corporate CIO role, has received substantial positive feedback and helped numerous organizations rethink their AI strategies — an achievement he considers especially significant at this stage in his career. He is currently working on a sequel titled "Where AI Fails," scheduled for publication in early 2027, which will explore challenges faced by organizations struggling to scale or correct early missteps with artificial intelligence adoption. Additionally, Mr. Morris authored "The Sentinel Protocols (Book One: Zero Threshold)" further showcasing his versatility as a writer.

Among other honors, Mr. Morris was nominated three times across two organizations for his work, including Colorado CIO of the Year by the Inspire ORBIE Awards.

Born in Fresno, Mr. Morris enjoys practicing martial arts, competing in triathlons and participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, swimming and running. He finds fulfillment in teaching at martial arts seminars and in operating Ohana Martial Arts Academy with his wife. He holds a fourth-degree black belt in Kenpo and fifth-dgree in Kamishin Ryu, while his wife, Carissa, holds fourth-degree black belts in both; reflecting their shared dedication to discipline and personal growth.

Together, they have four daughters; three have earned black belts in Kenpo, while two also hold black belts in Kamishin Ryu. One daughter is severely autistic and nonverbal, living in a group home; her journey has inspired Mr. Morris's commitment to supporting mission-driven organizations seeking broader visibility and impact.

Looking ahead, Mr. Morris plans to continue a career focusing on mission-driven organizations, including nonprofits, while continuing to grow his speaking engagements and publishing efforts.
