Mr. Roman currently serves as the owner and partner of DeNovo Ltd., a firm he has led for over five years. Under his leadership, his company has grown to include approximately 300 professionals, primarily contractors with whom he and his business partner have longstanding relationships.

DeNovo Ltd. specializes in information technology and operational diligence for investment targets on behalf of private equity firms, venture capital firms, and family offices representing the ultra-wealthy, only accepting engagements from clients with at least $5 billion in assets. The firm's work typically involves transactions ranging from $200 million to $500 million, focusing on companies considered for acquisition as strategic additions or platforms for consolidation rather than existing portfolio holdings. Mr. Roman's expertise in global finance and operations, particularly within healthcare and high-tech manufacturing, has been instrumental in establishing the firm's reputation.

In addition to his role at Creative Evolution LLC., Mr. Roman is a founding partner of DeNovo Advisors LLC in the Cleveland and Akron region, a position he has held since 2019. The company focuses on providing information technology and operational due diligence for private equity and venture capital firms, as well as family offices of the ultra-wealthy. Additionally, since 2020, Mr. Roman has served as an executive talent partner at Korn Ferry, a global consulting firm.

From 2019 to 2022, Mr. Roman contributed as a professional advisor with AdvisoryCloud, guiding organizations seeking expert advice. He was a founding partner of Creative Evolution Ltd. in the Greater Cleveland Area from 2016 to 2019. Mr. Roman also served as a senior vice president of consulting, sales, and marketing and was the head of markets at Lumeris in St. Louis between 2014 and 2016. In this capacity, he was responsible for overseeing key business functions during a period of significant growth for the startup.

Mr. Roman worked for iSOFT, a CSC company based in the Washington, D.C.-Baltimore area, as the president of global healthcare operations from 2010 to 2014. Before that, he held a similar position as the president of the global healthcare division at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise in Dallas-Fort Worth between 2002 and 2010. Mr. Roman was also the general manager at IBM Global Services in New York City from 1998 to 2002 after serving as brand executive from 1996 to 1998 and in dual roles as both the sales director for North America health applications and as the North American sales director between 1995 and 1996. He first joined IBM Global Services in 1994 as a managing principal. During his tenure at IBM, Mr. Roman was also a founding partner and general manager at Health Connections and Health Network Ventures in Greater Chicago from 1993 to 2005.

Mr. Roman began his career in 1980 as an associate partner at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) in the Greater Cleveland Area, where he dedicated 10 years. Notably, it was during his time at Accenture that he first mentored his future business partner, a relationship that would later become foundational for DeNovo Ltd. Mr. Roman then became a managing consultant with Ameritech Information Systems Inc. in the Greater Chicago Area from 1990 to 1993.
