ORLANDO, FL, October 28, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Darin Casey Lavine has been recognized for achievement in residential and commercial roofing services.

Marked by a career spanning over four decades of progressive leadership roles and adaptability, Mr. Lavine is a distinguished expert in both commercial and residential roofing. He is the president and owner of Blue Star Roofing Inc. — established in Orlando, Florida, in 2018 — which has experienced significant organic growth and evolved from its inception into a thriving family business that builds and maintains strong relationships with property owners, contractors, and industry partners alike. He takes particular pride in this achievement, as the company is on track to surpass eight figures in annual revenue after several years of consistently generating approximately $7 million annually, all without significant marketing investment.

Mr. Lavine's commitment to building a lasting family legacy is evident as two of his children now work alongside him; his daughter Angelica serves as vice president and holds her own roofing license as a certified contractor, while his youngest son Daryl recently joined the company to focus on marketing, brand development and sales. The business operates with a close-knit team, including well-educated members with backgrounds from Rollins College and South Florida University.

Prior to founding Blue Star Roofing, Mr. Lavine established Resilient Roofing Inc. in 2000 and served as president for more than a decade. He launched the company following his departure from CentiMark Corporation due to a non-compete clause and navigated it through both prosperous periods and the economic downturn of 2008 and 2009. His entrepreneurial impact during this period earned him national recognition when Resilient Roofing was named to Entrepreneur Magazine's Top 500 companies in 2006.

Mr. Lavine's earlier career was shaped by his tenure at CentiMark, the largest roofing contractor in the United States. He began as a roofer in 1986 after relocating to Florida from Maryland and steadily advanced through the ranks over 14 years. After being promoted to roofing foreman for four years, his responsibilities expanded further when he became superintendent from 1992 to 1994, followed by branch manager from 1994 to 2000. Over the years, he gained invaluable experience across every aspect of the roofing industry and has continued to apply those lessons in subsequent ventures.

To augment his technical expertise and commitment to maintaining top-quality standards, Mr. Lavine is certified by all major rooftop manufacturers, including the Better Business Bureau, Carlisle, and GAF. Alongside his primary roles, he is an active member of industry organizations including the Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Contractors Association (RSA), reflecting his engagement with broader professional networks and ongoing contributions to the field.
