Though his initial entry into the field was more unconventional, Mr. Durovic has demonstrated his dedication to the insurance industry through more than 30 years of service and a commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement. After graduating from college with a degree in engineering, he found his first job at Fort Orange Claims Unlimited Services through a newspaper ad. Despite knowing nothing about insurance at first, Mr. Durovic was delighted to discover that his engineering knowledge was crucial for writing adjustment estimates, providing a strong base for his future. Since then, he has built his expertise while working with a range of respected firms, including Arbitrage Adjusting Services Inc., State Farm Insurance, Cunningham Lindsey, American Integrity Insurance, Pharos Claims Services, and, most recently, as vice president of Slide Insurance.

ACADEMIC FOUNDATION
One way that Mr. Durovic has set himself apart from others in the field is through extensive education and ongoing professional training, beginning with a Bachelor of Science in engineering and management from Clarkson University in 1992. He obtained a Master of Science in risk management and insurance from Florida State University's Herbert Wertheim College of Business in 2015. Subsequently, he earned a bachelor's degree in applied science with a focus on business and organizational leadership from Valencia College in 2020.

Additionally, Mr. Durovic boasts an imposing range of accreditations, having recently achieved his 100th industry-related certification. Among others, he has obtained the prestigious CPCU and SCLA-Gold designations.
