He directs three business directors who oversee both "wet" and "dry" sides of operations, ensuring comprehensive management of retail sales, scuba diving, recreational diving, instruction and guided underwater experiences for all skill levels. In addition to the "traditional" certifications and specialties in scuba diving, Mr. Moum has developed adaptive diving programs for individuals with disabilities and expanded inclusive initiatives for high-functioning autistic individuals and those with other genetic conditions such as Down syndrome. Additionally, he has created therapeutic diving opportunities for military veterans experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder and established pro bono programs for underprivileged youth to promote positive alternatives through life-changing aquatic experiences. His commitment extends to supporting women affected by domestic violence, sexual assault and spousal abuse through specialized diving programs. By challenging traditional approaches to scuba diving with innovative programs and emerging technologies, Mr. Moum has launched Avelo diving operations and positioned Sea Dwellers as a leading Avelo dive center. He has built strategic partnerships with Avelo and Shearwater leadership to advance innovative diving technology, driving business growth through program development and industry innovation.

Mr. Moum is also Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Inky's Ocean Adventures Inc., the parent company of Sea Dwellers Dive Center. His wife, Diana, serves on the board as well as Secretary and Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to his entrepreneurial pursuits in the diving industry, Mr. Moum worked as a professional scuba instructor and divemaster at Diverz Down, LLC in 2025, where he contributed to diver training and safety.

From 2022 to 2025, Mr. Moum served as a senior information technology project manager at Tandym Group. In this capacity, he managed infrastructure development for multiple hospitals—including children's and full rehabilitation facilities—coordinating seven teams remotely from his home in Bradenton, Florida.

Between 2015 and 2022, he served as project manager at VCU Health, where he focused on leveraging information technology to improve healthcare outcomes despite the inherent complexities of data management within the sector.

Mr. Moum founded Iceman Enterprises, LLC in 2014 and served as president and principal until 2016.

Earlier in his career, he served as group vice president and director of business intelligence at SunTrust Banks, Inc., from 2000 to 2013. His tenure at SunTrust followed a distinguished period at Crestar Bank from 1989 to 1999, during which he served as group vice president and director of business intelligence and management reporting. During the early 1990s, in this role, Mr. Moum worked on an intra-departmental team to build a state-of-the-art enterprise-wide data warehouse. This EDW transformed how the bank viewed its profitability metrics at various levels. These concepts were the precursor to a full-blown management reporting system with drill through, drill up and down capabilities, which revolutionized the way the bank looked at its results corporate-wide. One of the most challenging times of his career was serving as caretaker for his ailing father. Following a stroke, Mr. Moum brought his father into his home and cared for his every need for the better part of two years. Following which, he moved his father into an assisted living facility where he visited him nearly every day.

Throughout his career journey—from investment banking to healthcare information technology to construction project management—Mr. Moum has demonstrated expertise in leadership, people management, mentoring, talent development, strengths identification, performance coaching, team building and employee empowerment.

Mr. Moum earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia, in 1989. His academic foundation provided him with essential skills that proved invaluable throughout his multifaceted career—particularly in areas such as data analytics, business intelligence and strategic leadership.

He holds several professional certifications that have further enhanced his capabilities across industries: professional divemaster from SSI Scuba Schools International (2024), certified change management professional from Prosci (2019), project management professional from the Project Management Institute (2018), Series 7 from FINRA (1991) and Series 63 from FINRA (1991).

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Moum is dedicated to community outreach through initiatives such as offering free swim lessons and Discover Scuba Diving classes to local students who lack swimming skills. His efforts have already enabled several students to earn open-water certification—a testament to his belief that small actions can yield meaningful impacts.

In his personal life, Mr. Moum enjoys scuba diving as well as playing pickleball and golf. He is a proud father of three children from his first marriage and a stepfather to two children from his marriage to his "forever wife," forming a blended family in which all members are loved very deeply.

Looking ahead, Mr. Moum aims to position Sea Dwellers Dive Center as the premier establishment in the Florida Keys with aspirations of expanding both its fleet of boats and its product offerings. The dive center's recognition as a five-star PADI agency underscores its standing within the industry, and is the second oldest PADI Dive Center in the world.
