JACKSON, MS, November 02, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Paul Fama Onemasr Sr. has been recognized for achievement in merchandising and retail distribution.

Marked by decades of merchandising and management excellence across multiple leading retail companies, Mr. Onemasr currently serves as chief executive officer of Fama Distribution Company in Jackson, Mississippi. In this capacity, he oversees the distribution of Utz Quality Foods products to major retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, Circle K and Family Dollar throughout his dedicated territory in Mississippi, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and regularly checking on his delivery associates.

Mr. Onemasr has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to excellence throughout his career, consistently exceeding expectations and surpassing the goals set before him in every position he has held. Before founding Fama Distribution Company, he spent 25 successful years with Kmart. During this time, he was named Manager of the Year after exceeding benchmarks in merchandising, sales and operating profit — a testament to his ability to deliver outstanding results and lead teams to success.

Prior to his time at Kmart, Mr. Onemasr excelled as a merchandising manager at Walmart for five years, further honing his skills in retail strategy and product placement. Earlier in his career, he gained valuable leadership experience while serving as a sales executive at Dillard's and Harris Teeter, developing a comprehensive understanding of sales operations and customer engagement.

Hailing from an equally accomplished educational background, Mr. Onemasr earned a master's degree following completion of a Bachelor of Arts from Philander Smith University in Little Rock, Arkansas. Determined to make an impact outside the classroom as well, he was elected president of the student government at Philander Smith, an early indicator of his leadership abilities and commitment to service.

Reflecting on his storied journey to date, Mr. Onemasr attributes much of his success to the unwavering love and support of his family, as well as the mentors and colleagues who opened doors for him and encouraged his continued growth. Likewise, his fluency in five languages — English, French and three African languages — has enabled him to connect with diverse communities and navigate international business environments effectively. Born in the Republic of the Congo in the French-speaking region of Central Africa, he brings a unique global perspective to his work in Mississippi.

Happily married and a proud father of three children, Mr. Onemasr is a devoted family man who has long been committed to civic-minded initiatives and helping others through everything he does. He volunteers wherever he sees a need, with a particular focus on uplifting young people in his community just as others have done for him.

Looking toward the future with optimism, Mr. Onemasr's primary goal is to grow Fama Distribution Company by building on its success and expanding its reach, with the hope that one of his children will continue the legacy he has established.
