MASSILLON, OH, November 2, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tony Zinn has been recognized for achievement in insurance, coaching and consulting.

Mr. Zinn's career reflects a remarkable journey of leadership, innovation and resilience across the insurance, consulting and coaching sectors. As founder and chief executive officer of TNT Consulting since 2015, he has become a recognized authority in the insurance sector of artificial intelligence, consulting, coaching and mergers and acquisitions for insurance professionals nationwide.

Through TNT Consulting, Mr. Zinn advises clients on selling and acquiring businesses, meeting weekly with insurance executives to coach them and their teams on scaling operations and achieving sustainable growth. His expertise in these areas is widely respected, positioning him as a trusted adviser to industry leaders.

In 2026, Mr. Zinn expanded his impact by founding tonyzinn.com, a platform dedicated to his speaking, writing and coaching endeavors. That same year, he became vice president, partner at Apex B2B Growth, an artificial intelligence company specializing in the insurance sector. In June 2026, he joined Apex full-time, helping take the startup nationwide while merging his existing consulting and coaching work into the founder's network.

Prior to these roles, Mr. Zinn served as district manager and president of operations for District 48 at Farmers Insurance in Columbus from 2025 to 2026. He was also district manager for American National Insurance Company in Canton from 2015 to 2025, where he earned multiple national and regional manager of the year honors as well as repeated recognition in the President's Club and Summit Club. During his tenure with American National Insurance Company, he represented the company as an independent contractor through Zinn Financial Corporation — an agency he founded at age 26.

Over an 11-year period beginning in his early 20s, Mr. Zinn scaled Zinn Financial Corporation to 27 locations across 15 states, managed a team of more than 50 agents and built a $35 million premium operation generating nearly $5 million in annual revenue. In 2024, following a buyout by an asset management firm that resulted in corporate compensation cuts and book non-renewals, the business collapsed within a year. Mr. Zinn has described this challenging period as foundational for his current mission.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Zinn served as a district agency sales manager at Farmers Insurance from 2012 to 2015; and account manager at GE Capital from 2005 to 2011.

At GE Capital, Mr. Zinn distinguished himself as one of the top bill collectors globally and consistently ranked as the number one performer worldwide in the JCPenney portfolio each year during his tenure. He was recognized early on for coaching and mentoring colleagues and was selected to travel to India to teach, train and develop teams abroad.

Mr. Zinn's academic background includes earning a bachelor's degree in education and business leadership from Walsh University in North Canton in 2010. Initially pursuing early childhood education before changing his major, he added a minor in business after realizing his interests lay outside classroom teaching at that time. This blend of educational theory with business acumen has been instrumental throughout his professional journey — equipping him with both people-centered leadership skills and strategic insight for scaling organizations.

In addition, Mr. Zinn holds property, casualty, life and health insurance certifications from Hondros College of Business. These credentials have enabled him to navigate complex regulatory environments while supporting clients through high-level transactions across multiple states.

Raised in Canton amid humble beginnings marked by generational struggles on his father's side of the family, Mr. Zinn credits his early experiences with shaping his values of gratitude, perseverance and empathy. Growing up in poverty during his formative years instilled a deep appreciation for every achievement along his path. He attributes much of his success to never forgetting where he came from — maintaining humility regardless of how far he has advanced professionally or how much recognition he has received.

Throughout his career, Mr. Zinn has remained actively engaged with civic organizations and nonprofit initiatives. In October 2026, he became chaplain of the board of directors for The Landon Robinson Foundation — an organization supporting children with mental health needs named after a young man whom Mr. Zinn mentored years earlier who went on to be drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals. He is also a member of boardsi, a business networking group focused on helping members secure paid board seats; however, he currently dedicates his time without compensation to nonprofit boards.

Mr. Zinn also volunteers with Whispering Grace Horses — an equine therapy organization serving veterans, first responders and others who have experienced trauma — where he works directly with participants rather than serving on its board. His commitment extends further as head coach for his son Mason's regional travel baseball team and through volunteer work with various other nonprofit organizations.

Recognition for excellence has followed Mr. Zinn throughout his career. He has earned multiple national manager of the year awards at American National Insurance Company; repeated regional manager honors; membership in both President's Club and Summit Club almost annually; recognition as the top bill collector worldwide at GE Capital; and consistent ranking as the number-one performer in the JCPenney portfolio.

As an author, Mr. Zinn is most proud of his forthcoming book "From Running to Rest: The Architecture of Sustainable Growth," published through a leading national publisher. The book chronicles his personal journey from poverty to professional achievement over nearly four decades while offering strategies for scaling businesses without sacrificing personal well-being or family life. He considers this work not only a comprehensive account of his evolution but also a transformative resource for entrepreneurs seeking sustainable growth.

In addition to this milestone publication, Mr. Zinn has written "My Dad Is A Superhero," a children's book inspired by his youngest son that encourages children to recognize everyday heroes both on earth and spiritually. Drawing upon his background in elementary education, he plans school visits to read aloud from the book and provide signed copies to students — sharing messages of love, value and belonging with young readers. His story has been featured by Leadify.

Looking ahead, Mr. Zinn is focused on expanding his influence globally through speaking engagements at international conferences as well as podcast appearances that will further amplify his message among entrepreneurs and business owners worldwide. His goals reflect an enduring passion for coaching, mentoring and inspiring others — driven by gratitude for every opportunity along the way and an unwavering commitment to making each day count for those he serves personally and professionally.

A serious illness at Cleveland Clinic Hospital became a defining moment for Mr. Zinn. Lying in his hospital bed, his thoughts were not on business or professional achievement but on his children and family, and he wanted more time because he knew his work was not finished. Since his recovery, he has seen his mission as helping others recognize and believe in the greater purpose God has for their lives, reminding them that every person is a miracle and that tomorrow is never promised.
