DALLAS, TX, November 2, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rick Lindner has been recognized for achievement in commercial strategy, business transformation and technology adoption, and as founder of Aurum Pursuit, a private investment platform.

Mr. Lindner is principal of Aurum Pursuit, which he founded in September 2026 with longtime friend and partner Michael Means. The platform is built to acquire and grow founder-owned, asset-light service businesses in sectors such as landscaping and property services, HVAC and plumbing, marketing agencies and managed IT services. Mr. Lindner leads sourcing and relationships with business owners and capital partners, while Mr. Means contributes investment judgment, diligence, network and capital. Their approach centers on partnering with owners to provide the structure, tools and investment to support the next phase of growth.

Mr. Lindner also leads Aurum Labs, a consultancy he launched in 2026 focused on commercial operating systems and go-to-market infrastructure.

Before founding these ventures, Mr. Lindner led the commercial function at ADB Companies LLC, a private equity-backed technology infrastructure company, with responsibility for sales, marketing and revenue operations. His work shaped the company's commercial strategy and execution during a period of significant growth.

Previously, at RingCentral, he developed go-to-market strategy for new product introductions and new market expansion.

Mr. Lindner spent 17 years at AT&T, beginning in consumer and business sales and advancing through sales operations and sales leadership for mobility and technical sales, where he managed teams driving results across multiple markets. He went on to lead market development, identifying new growth opportunities across the company's portfolio, and later led product development investment and portfolio strategy.

Mr. Lindner was inducted into the AT&T Diamond Club for sales leadership and was later selected for the leadership development program of private equity sponsor Warren Equity Partners.

Building teams and developing talent are among the most rewarding parts of Mr. Lindner's work. At each organization he has served, he has focused on creating room for people to take on new challenges and responsibilities, and he has watched many colleagues grow into larger roles. He plans to bring that same approach to the businesses Aurum Pursuit acquires.

Mr. Lindner holds a Master of Business Administration from the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business in Dallas and a Bachelor of Arts in economics and sociology from Southern Methodist University.

Mr. Lindner attributes much of his effectiveness to curiosity. He asks questions until he understands a business at a fundamental level, and he is comfortable rolling up his sleeves and working in the details. Early in his career, a mentor encouraged him to speak up with confidence, and that advice became a catalyst. It gave him the footing to ask the questions that build real understanding, and over time to judge what each situation needs: getting hands-on in the details, or stepping back to set direction and drive execution.

After leading commercial operations for a private equity-backed technology infrastructure business, Mr. Lindner took time to reflect on his next step and completed several contract assignments. He then decided to build something of his own with Mr. Means, drawing on their complementary skills and shared view of how quickly technology is changing the businesses around them.

Outside of work, Mr. Lindner has adopted several rescue dogs over the years and is an advocate and supporter of the SPCA.

Born in St. Louis, Mr. Lindner has called Dallas home for more than 20 years. He lives there with his wife, Manda, and their children, Ryan, Tyler and Mack. He enjoys projects with his kids, woodworking, fixing things around the house, yard work and swimming at the lake.

Looking ahead, Mr. Lindner plans to find the right business to acquire through Aurum Pursuit and strengthen it for its next stage, continuing a career built on learning by doing and elevating the people around him.
