At one physician's office, she uses his laser equipment to treat her own patients under an arrangement that allows him to earn revenue from the services she provides while he maintains the machinery. Since 2010, Ms. Ottati has also served as an adult nurse practitioner at Lucencia Medical in Longwood, Florida. Coming from a clinical background that includes pediatrics, postpartum care, nursery work and high-risk perinatal care, she gradually transitioned into aesthetics and has found both professional fulfillment and personal enjoyment. Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Ms. Ottati earned a master's degree in adult health from Andrews University in 2000 as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1995. While pursuing the family nurse practitioner track during her graduate studies, she became pregnant with her first child and was unable to complete an off-site family health class required for that program. As a result, she became certified as both a licensed autonomous nurse practitioner and advanced practice registered nurse to augment her qualifications.
