COLTS NECK, NJ, November 04, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Stephanie Pistilli has been recognized for achievement in healthcare. She stands as a recognized expert in obstetrics and gynecology, having dedicated a decade to advancing women's health. In 2026, she established Integrative Whole Woman Gynecology in Colts Neck, New Jersey, where she serves as the owner and medical director. Through this practice, Dr. Pistilli provides private integrative gynecology services and leads educational initiatives on hormonal health, PCOS/PMOS, perimenopause and menopause.

In addition to providing primary patient care at her office, Dr. Pistilli remains deeply committed to mentorship by teaching residents at Monmouth Medical Center's federally qualified healthcare clinic multiple days each week. Her efforts extend to promoting awareness of women's health concerns and pregnancy and post-pregnancy wellness, while her ongoing pursuit of advanced education ensures she remains at the forefront of integrative medicine.

Before founding her practice, Dr. Pistilli practiced medicine in various capacities beginning in 2016, following the completion of her residency in obstetrics and gynecology. Throughout her career, she has found profound fulfillment in guiding patients through pivotal life moments, particularly childbirth. One of Dr. Pistilli's most cherished experiences is handing a newborn to a mother after delivery, an event that continues to inspire her involvement in resident education. Her dedication is further reflected in her commitment to listening to patients and helping them feel understood, a hallmark of her approach that has had a lasting impact on those she serves.

Dr. Pistilli's educational journey began at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she earned both a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with honors, and a Bachelor of Arts in English, with honors. She continued her studies at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, graduating with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, with honors, in 2012. Dr. Pistilli's postgraduate training included a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rowan University/Cooper University Hospital, completed in 2016, during which she served as academic chief.

Beyond her formal education, Dr. Pistilli holds several professional credentials, including a New Jersey state medical license, two board certifications, one from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and also the American Board of Physician Specialties in Integrative Medicine. She also became certified as a Menopause Society Practitioner to address gaps she identified during residency training.

A significant turning point came when Dr. Pistilli pursued a fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, which she completed in 2026. This decision was influenced by personal health challenges that prompted her to seek alternative healing methods beyond traditional medicine. Dr. Pistilli's experience with chronic pain, chronic fatigue and recovery from spine surgery led her to explore integrative approaches that now inform her patient care philosophy.

Dr. Pistilli is an active member of several leading organizations, including the Menopause Society, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health. Beyond her clinical practice and professional affiliations, she remains very involved in her children's schools.

Grateful for her continued success, Dr. Pistilli's professional achievements include publication in Green Journal (Obstetrics & Gynecology) and recognition with the National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education in 2026. Her inspiration for entering medicine was shaped early by family influences, particularly stories from her grandmother, an Italian immigrant and LPN, as well as an innate fascination with science and surgery. From a very young age, Dr. Pistilli knew that she was destined to practice medicine. In medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine she was fortunate to be mentored by amazing physicians who shaped her path towards obstetrics and synecology. These mentors showed her firsthand what it takes to be an amazing physician and educator.

Born on Staten Island, New York, Dr. Pistilli balances her demanding profession with a vibrant family life alongside her husband Carter and their two children. Their collaborative approach to family life enables her to pursue her career ambitions while remaining actively engaged in activities such as horse riding with her daughter and supporting her son's sports interests.

Looking ahead, Dr. Pistilli aims to expand Integrative Whole Woman Gynecology into a comprehensive health center that brings together diverse specialists for holistic women's care. She also considers future leadership opportunities within medical education while continuing to prioritize resident instruction and patient advocacy within women's health.
