Dr. Dalkiran's career is distinguished by her expertise in data and artificial intelligence, as well as her ability to build trust and credibility with global clients. In 2026, she became Google's global go-to-market lead at SAP, where she leads the worldwide data and artificial intelligence partnership between SAP and Google. Her responsibilities include executing go-to-market strategies from product development through marketing and revenue generation; enabling internal sales teams to effectively present partnership offerings; serving as the executive presence for customers; advising clients on their data and artificial intelligence transformation journeys; and aligning marketing, product development, and sales teams toward a unified strategic vision. Dr. Dalkiran is most proud of the trust she has earned with the Google executive board and other customers, emphasizing that relationships are built on respect and integrity rather than transactional goals. Her reputation as a trusted advisor is central to her professional identity.

Before this role, Dr. Dalkiran served as an artificial intelligence strategy advisor at SAP from 2025 to 2026. In this role, she advised on artificial intelligence initiatives, leveraging her deep technical knowledge to support organizational objectives. From 2023 to 2025, she was an enterprise customer success manager at SAP in Tempe, Arizona, where she managed key client relationships and supported enterprise-level solutions. She joined SAP in 2018 as a senior data scientist in Tempe, Arizona, where she applied advanced analytics to business challenges and contributed to the company's growth in data-driven decision-making.

Dr. Dalkiran's academic journey also included roles at Arizona State University. In 2018, she taught economics and related courses. Between 2012 and 2018, she worked as a graduate associate at Arizona State University, contributing to research projects while pursuing her doctorate. She also served as an instructor in 2015 and completed an analytics internship with Discover Financial Services in Phoenix in 2017.

Her early career began in Turkey as a teaching and research assistant at Bilkent University in Ankara from 2010 to 2012, following a research assistantship there in 2009. She gained industry experience through internships at Aselsan in 2008 and DBI Yazilim in Ankara in 2007.

In addition to her technical career, Dr. Dalkiran has been devoted to the performing arts since 2015. She performed Latin dance semi-professionally on stages across the United States for approximately seven years before turning to ballet and modern dance. She performed three seasons with CAZO Dance Theater, where her artistic director recognized her acting talent. This led her to train in method acting as well as Meisner and Stanislavski techniques in Arizona and New York. As a result, she has landed commercial and film roles.

In 2026, Dr. Dalkiran combined her passions for technology and the arts by developing and launching an artificial intelligence application that guides actors step by step in creating self-tapes. She served as the sole developer for this innovative project.

Dr. Dalkiran's academic achievements have played a pivotal role in shaping her career trajectory. She earned a Doctor of Philosophy in economics from Arizona State University in 2018 after completing a Master of Science in mathematical economics at the W. P. Carey School of Business in 2015. Before relocating to the United States, she obtained both a Master of Arts in economics in 2012 and a Bachelor of Arts in economics in 2010 from Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey.

Her educational journey began after she ranked among the top 1,000 students on Turkey's national university entrance exam and earned a full scholarship to Bilkent University for undergraduate studies. Throughout her academic pursuits, Dr. Dalkiran received numerous scholarships and honors including the TUBITAK Graduate Studies Scholarship 2210 from the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey from 2010 to 2012; Bilkent University Full Scholarship from 2005 to 2010; Basidav Scholarship from Basidav and Is Bank from 2005 to 2010; High Honor Certificates from Bilkent University during those same years, TUBITAK BIDEB Scholarship from the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey from 2005 to 2010; Full Scholarship from Arizona State University beginning in 2012; Best Performance Bonus from the Department of Economics at Arizona State University in 2016; and recognition through SAP's Catalyzer Program.

Her dissertation at Arizona State University focused on how female labor supply evolves as economies grow, giving her a strong theoretical foundation in machine learning and econometric systems that later informed her work as a data scientist at SAP.

Throughout her academic journey, Dr. Dalkiran attributes her success to the resourcefulness and resilience she developed through years of rigorous study and mentorship from advisors who encouraged curiosity and problem-solving. She believes doctoral training instills the ability to ask challenging questions and find innovative solutions—qualities that have kept her at the forefront of every field she has entered.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Dalkiran has demonstrated civic engagement through leadership roles such as program manager for Stories of Courage with the Turkish Women's Initiative, co-president of the Graduate Women's Association at Arizona State University, and president of the Turkish Student Association at Arizona State University.

Born in Adana into a middle-income family in Turkey, Dr. Dalkiran reached each milestone through determination and hard work alone. Since age 18, she has studied on full scholarships—an achievement that reflects both academic excellence and perseverance despite adversity.

She credits much of her progress to the unwavering support of parents living abroad, as well as friends who have become family in the United States. Her personal life includes two marriages that ended amicably; Dr. Dalkiran values what each relationship taught her about herself and wishes both former husbands well.

A lover of animals who shares her home with two cats, Dr. Dalkiran finds balance through creative pursuits such as acting and dancing alongside her technical endeavors.
