PORT WASHINGTON, NY, November 05, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rose M. DeVito has been recognized for achievement in legal and administrative support services.

Marked by more than 25 years of exemplary service across legal services and operational support, Ms. DeVito currently serves as a senior litigation paralegal at the Law Offices of Eyal Talassazan, P.C. in Garden City, New York, providing vital legal and administrative support to Mr. Talassazan and his associates. With an approach characterized by punctuality, professionalism, and the ability to anticipate her colleagues' needs, she manages essential hands-on tasks that enable the attorneys to focus on their legal work. Her expertise in drafting legal documents, conducting research on case law to support motions, affirmations and memoranda of law, as well as handling administrative responsibilities, has distinguished her as an accomplished hands-on managing paralegal.

From 2025 to 2026, Ms. DeVito served as Client Services Coordinator at Davidov Law Group, PC, on Long Island. She initially joined as an assistant with the understanding that she would advance based on her performance. Quickly excelling in client relations, she generated significant business for the firm and transitioned into a full-time intake and onboarding role, ultimately becoming the lead intake specialist. Despite having no prior experience in this area, she scheduled approximately 50 meetings per month for five consecutive months and achieved a 76.7% appointment-retention rate, making a substantial impact on client engagement.

After spending 16 years supporting and loving her family, Ms. DeVito served as an executive assistant at St. Francis Hospital over two tenures, from 2021 to 2025. In this role, Ms. DeVito served as the assistant to two world-renowned heart surgeons, Dr. Antonio Madrid and Dr. Roberto Colangelo. In these roles, she was looking to hone her administrative skills outside the legal sector. She was the sole and direct support to her doctors and the hospital administration, coordinating surgeries while serving as a liaison among pharmacies, hospitals, and patients.

Also applying her administrative skills in the educational sector, Ms. DeVito excelled as the school secretary at Tiegerman School from 2019 to 2021. Throughout this time, her work saw her lead front-office operations and communications efforts.

Ms. DeVito began her legal career with positions as an executive legal secretary at Shaub, Ahmuty, Citrin & Spratt, LLP, from 2001 to 2002; a legal secretary at the Law Office of Michael A. DeVito, from 1999 to 2001; and a legal secretary at the Law Office of Michael F.X. Manning, from 1997 to 1999. Throughout these formative years, she developed many of the foundational skills in document preparation, staff supervision and litigation support that have fueled her subsequent ascension in the legal realm.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Ms. DeVito completed education in paralegal studies and legal assistant coursework at Hofstra University, graduating with a perfect 4.0 grade point average.

Reflecting on her storied journey thus far, Ms. DeVito attributes much of her success to knowing her job thoroughly and approaching each day with determination and positivity. Early in her career as a paralegal in her 20s, she met her then-husband and together they started a practice that provided for their family over many years. After a 16-year hiatus from her professional pursuits to help run their practice — which continues to fund their children's college education — she returned to the workforce with renewed focus and commitment.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ms. DeVito has been strongly dedicated to civic-minded initiatives through volunteer work with several organizations. For 16 years, she has volunteered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and participated in community outreach programs through her church. Additionally, she has been active in parent-teacher associations and hospitality committees at her children's private school, hosting social events for the school community. Her service also extends to Marie Regina Home for Unwed Mothers, where she contributed by remodeling bedrooms for expectant mothers and providing baby clothes.

On a personal level, Ms. DeVito finds great fulfillment in spending quality time with her two children and cherishes their health and happiness. As a balance to her professional responsibilities, she enjoys reading, cooking, baking, DIY home projects, being outdoors during warm weather and sharing time with her loved ones, including her dog Roxy.

With both of her children now grown — her son works as a financial advisor in midtown Manhattan after passing all the necessary exams, while her daughter is completing studies in chemical biology at Stevens Institute of Technology with plans for medical school — Ms. DeVito feels invigorated as she embarks a new chapter of her career journey. Having significantly increased her salary since returning to the legal field and advancing from legal assistant to managing paralegal roles, she aims to continue her professional growth while prioritizing her family connections and personal well-being.
