FLOWER MOUND, TX, November 05, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- David Soler has been recognized for achievement in healthcare.
Mr. Soler is Senior Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for HealthTronics, a position he has held since March 2023. He leads a team of business development directors, designs the company's sales and marketing strategy, and reports to the CEO. His work centers on building partnerships with urologists and hospital leaders, and he regularly travels across the United States to align physician and executive stakeholders around new models of care for kidney stone treatment and other urologic conditions.
At HealthTronics, Mr. Soler led the launch of URSolutions, a physician-partnered ureteroscopy platform, working alongside his business development team and colleagues across operations, marketing, and the executive team. Together they took it from concept to a scaled, revenue-generating service line. Building on that foundation, the team extended the model into MRI fusion biopsy for prostate cancer diagnosis. These programs became a cornerstone of the company's growth strategy and helped further establish HealthTronics as a trusted partner for physician-led ventures. Mr. Soler credits the collaboration of his colleagues and the strength of the company's physician and industry partners for the program's success. He also rebuilt the company's physician targeting on the AcuityMD platform, earning the 2024 Curie Award for Innovation. Other initiatives include a national residency partnership program, a refreshed brand and value proposition, and a company-wide awards program.
Before HealthTronics, Mr. Soler spent more than a decade at Boston Scientific, rising from senior sales representative in San Juan to director of sales for the Prostate Health business in the western United States. In that role he led one of the company's largest sales organizations, managing regional managers and field teams and delivering consistent growth. Along the way he served as regional sales manager for Latin America, business unit manager for the Caribbean with full P&L responsibility, and senior regional sales manager in Dallas, leading a top-performing region nationally. He began his career in pharmaceuticals with Pfizer and Wyeth in San Juan, holding roles from sales representative to account manager and therapeutic specialty representative. In all, he has spent more than 20 years in healthcare and is recognized as an expert in the U.S. urology landscape.
Mr. Soler holds a Master of Business Administration in marketing from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from the University of Puerto Rico. He has also completed Harvard Business School Online's Disruptive Strategy program and earned Predictive Index certification.
His honors include Rookie of the Year at both Pfizer and Boston Scientific, President's Club recognition, the Boston Scientific CEO Winning Spirit Award (2017), Winning Spirit Awards (2018 and 2021), the E3 Culture Award (2021), and a finalist nomination for People Leader of the Year (2020).
Mr. Soler credits his career to grit, a strong work ethic, and the determination he developed adapting to a new language and culture after moving from Puerto Rico to the United States. He says mentors and a network of supportive colleagues, including Gavin Philipps, helped him through setbacks. He founded Boston Scientific's HOLA field sales employee resource group chapter and helped launch a scholarship for Hispanic and Latino medical sales students. He also volunteers with arthritis foundations and takes part in their outreach in Puerto Rico, a cause close to his heart.
Born in San Juan, Mr. Soler enjoys time with his family, including attending theater productions that support his children's interests. Looking ahead, he aspires to lead an entire organization beyond sales and marketing, as a chief commercial officer or chief executive officer, and to one day return to Puerto Rico while helping others navigate new opportunities in the United States.
He currently resides in Texas with his wife, Zuania, and their children, Rodrigo and Caterina.
