Mr. Hilton's career in real estate spans more than four decades, marked by a commitment to integrity and client service. For over nine years, Mr. Hilton has served as a broker with MORE Realty in Portland, Oregon, where he specializes in rural properties, development projects and a full range of real estate services. His expertise encompasses residential, rural residential and development properties.

Currently, Mr. Hilton is overseeing the sale of a home in a subdivision in Silverton, Oregon, where he is working closely with a long-term partner to build and sell 70 homes, having already sold nearly 30 of them. Although not a partner in this particular project, his collaboration with this associate spans more than 35 years and includes ventures in both rural and urban development.

Before joining MORE Realty, Mr. Hilton held the position of partner and broker at John L. Scott in Tigard, Oregon. He played an instrumental role in expanding the company's presence in the region after selling his own brokerage to Summa Elite Realty. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hilton started at Sam Gotter Realty in 1986, a firm known for its focus on rural subdivisions and property partitioning. As the owner of the organization, he garnered extensive experience managing rural developments across Washington, Columbia, Multnomah and Yamhill Counties.

Over the years, Mr. Hilton has also owned and operated several businesses outside real estate. Among them, he owned an Italian restaurant in Santa Cruz, California, as well as a laundromat and grocery store west of Boulder, Colorado.

Mr. Hilton's educational background included coursework toward a Bachelor of Science in psychology at the University of Colorado. He credits this academic foundation with enhancing his communication skills and understanding of client needs throughout his real estate career. Mr. Hilton earned his broker license in Oregon in 1986.

A former platinum member of MDC Diamond from 2003 to 2005, Mr. Hilton maintains active membership in the National Association of Realtors, the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors and various regional multiple listing services. Beyond his professional pursuits, he has demonstrated a deep commitment to civic engagement. He has volunteered as a cook for large groups, supported church activities, and contributed to more than 30 organizations focused on environmental conservation and social welfare. Mr. Hilton's involvement also includes supporting efforts to save orangutans in Indonesia, backing the Natural Resource Council and the Sierra Club and volunteering as a driver for Veterans Affairs by transporting patients to medical appointments. He has served on the vestry at St. John's the Baptist in Portland Oregon while supporting the Episcopal Church in Milwaukie Oregon.

Throughout his career, Mr. Hilton has been recognized for his ability to foster long-term relationships with clients, many of whom have become friends over nearly 40 years of service. He is particularly proud of maintaining these connections without encountering significant issues and is known for providing honest advice that prioritizes his clients' best interests. Mr. Hilton's leadership extended to managing more than 500 agents at one point before health challenges required him to scale back his operations.

In recognition of his success, Mr. Hilton was named a Top Sales Associate at John L. Scott in Tigard from 1995 to 1996, received the President's Award every year between 1996 and 2005, and, in 2000, was named Top 10 Oregon Title VIP Realtor of the Year and was inducted into the Million Dollar Club. Additional honors included being named a Five Star Professional Real Estate Agent multiple times at MORE Realty since 2013.

Mr. Hilton's approach to business has always been shaped by honesty, loyalty and a strong sense of ethics. These qualities have earned him numerous referrals and repeat clients over the years. Mr. Hilton attributes much of his success to these values as well as his comprehensive knowledge base developed through decades of hands-on experience with rural properties and land development.
