DAYTONA BEACH, FL, November 05, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sterling Scott has been recognized for achievement in insurance and risk management.

Marked by his entrepreneurial vision, resilience and commitment to client advocacy, Mr. Scott's impact in the insurance industry spans nearly 20 years and counting. He is the founder and president of Trust Public Adjusting Group, which he established in Greater Orlando, Florida, in 2016. Under his steady leadership, the business has expanded from a two-person operation to a team of approximately 10 licensed public adjusters who represent properties with more than $100 million in insured value. The company surpassed $1 million in annual revenue within four years and has consistently maintained or exceeded that level ever since.

Mr. Scott's approach centers on contingency-based representation, ensuring that his clients pay nothing unless funds are recovered on their behalf. His dedication has resulted in average recoveries approximately 7.5 times higher than initial insurance company offers, with some cases — such as securing $980,000 for a $6 million property after an initial offer of $24,000 — standing out as career highlights. These victories have had a profound impact on families and property owners who had faced dire circumstances, which he considers his most meaningful achievement.

In 2023, Mr. Scott also established Sterling Claim Consultants, where he focuses on insurance appraisals and serves as an appraiser for attorneys handling complex six-figure claims. Furthermore, he is the owner of Sterling Strategic Investments — founded in 2019 — through which he manages investments across real estate, stocks and other assets.

For more than 10 years, Mr. Scott has excelled as the managing partner of the Daytona Beach-based insurance firm Pure Estimates, where he provides estimates for individuals of all professions and includes additional services such as annotations, supporting documentation and scope negotiation. Recognized for his entrepreneurial impact on the community, he was named among the top "40 Under 40" professionals working in the Florida panhandle.

Alongside his own ventures, Mr. Scott served as Public Relations and Marketing Director of Noble Public Adjusting Group in Panama City Beach and Destin from 2014 to 2016, during which he continued to find solutions that meet the needs of insured individuals. He previously worked as a project manager at Rooms to Go in Panama City from 2013 to 2014; leading the sales team during this time, they became the company's top-producing location and expanded its presence in the furniture manufacturing market. Over the course of two years, he gained valuable leadership experience as the general manager of Covered Airport Parking from 2011 to 2013.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Scott was an associate at Marcus & Millichap Commercial Real Estate Investments from 2010 to 2011, sales consultant and partner at Boomerang Marketing Company for two years, and service manager at Parking Express for four years, all of which contributed to his expertise at the intersection of real estate, business consulting and insurance adjustment.

Beyond his primary roles, Mr. Scott has been a member of the Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters and is affiliated with three Business Networking International chapters across St. Augustine, New Smyrna Beach and Daytona Beach. As a guest writer for East Coast Current Magazine since 2024, he continues to contribute insights and advice on a wide range of topics including hurricane preparedness, property protection and how to prepare and file insurance claims.

Mr. Scott's equally accomplished educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in public relations and advertising with a minor in English from St. Edward's University, where he graduated cum laude in 2008. To augment his qualifications in the real estate sector, he also became licensed by the States of California and Texas.

Mr. Scott's entry into the public adjusting sector followed his extensive experience as a business consultant, when a persistent public insurance adjuster introduced him to the field at a chamber of commerce meeting. This encounter sparked his interest in holding insurance companies accountable and supporting local economies by ensuring that property owners and families receive fair settlements for their damage claims.

Civic engagement is another central facet of Mr. Scott's professional identity. A financial donor to the Restoration Association of Florida, he supports efforts to align insurance policies with public interests even when facing legislative setbacks. He is also an active member of the Daytona Chamber of Commerce as well as the Ormond Beach and Port Orange–South Daytona Chamber of Commerce. He also ensures his company's continued participation as an affiliate of multiple Business Networking International chapters.

Reflecting on his storied journey thus far, Mr. Scott attributes his success to maintaining an unwavering focus on market innovation, competitive strategy and exceptional client care during the formative years of his business. Operating without loans or advertising budgets, he relied on word-of-mouth referrals driven by outstanding service and attention to detail and has never strayed from this approach. These experiences shaped his longtime business philosophy, that prioritizing clients leads to organic growth and long-term success.

As a balance to his professional and community endeavors, Mr. Scott enjoys golfing, spending time with his 2-year-old son at the beach near his home, surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, traveling, and road cycling — a passion that began while he lived in Austin, Texas, with both Kestrel and Felt bicycles among his collection. Also an accomplished skier, he trained at Rowmark Ski Academy during his high school years in Utah while attending Rowland Hall's international ski program and went on to become a nationally ranked downhill ski racer.

Determined to further his impact in the coming years, Mr. Scott plans to expand Trust Public Adjusting Group into Texas by obtaining his own public adjuster license there while establishing a second Florida office to be led by current adjusters. His life and career reflect an unwavering entrepreneurial drive rooted in advocacy for clients, community involvement and continuous personal development — qualities that have defined his contributions to the insurance industry, the State of Florida and beyond.
