With more than 13 years of professional experience, Ms. Lewis excels in program management, grant management and grant writing. She is responsible for developing relationships, budgeting, coordinating fundraisers and implementing funds. Prior to attaining her current position, Ms. Lewis was a program director and previously worked as a program manager. She became involved in her profession because of her desire to help people and stays current with the trends in her profession by attending conferences and reading industry-related publications. Ms. Lewis is a recipient of the Broughton W. and Marion R. Connell Memorial Leadership Scholarship and the George C. Wallace Community College Diplomat Scholarship, and attributes her success to the support she receives from her mentors.

Ms. Lewis received her MBA in 2004 and her Bachelor of Science in Business in 1998 from Troy University. She is affiliated with the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business Administration and the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society and volunteers with the Dothan Area Young Professionals Group. Ms. Lewis hopes to continue to grow in her profession in the future. She considers the influence of the media on children to be the most important issue facing her profession.
