/24-7PressRelease/ - Burlington, WA, July 16, 2008, Louise Magno, Artist for Natural Moments Studio, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of artistry.
With 35 years of experience as an artist, Ms. Magno created Natural Moments Studio four years ago. Throughout her career, she has cultivated an expertise in photography and, several years ago, branched out into water color painting as well. She now creates and produces photography and paintings for her studio.
For 28 years, Ms. Magno worked as a System Analysis/Project Manager, during which time she also did business programming and technical writing. Today, she continues working as a System Analysis/Project Manager for a major Airplane Producer in addition to creating her own studio, Natural Moments Studio.
Ms. Magno's artwork has been published in several magazines and newspapers, including 'Tulip Glory', her first published painting which was published by Skagit Valley Tulip Festival Magazine. She shows and sells her work at different art shows and galleries throughout the year. Her work is also available in several on-line galleries. She began professionally selling and exhibiting her work four years ago and her goal is to retire from her position as a System Analysis/Project Manager in four years and pursue her artistry full time.
Ms. Magno considers her greatest achievement to be raising her sons as a single parent and enjoying her 13 grandchildren. She remarried several years ago to a professional musician who plays the trumpet. She keeps current with the trends in her profession by attending workshops and reading trade publications, and she feels the most important issue facing artists today is the economy.
In 2004, Ms. Magno received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from City University and completed her Master's Certification in Project Management at Stevens Institute of Technology the same year. She is an associate member of the National Watercolor Society, a member of the Whatcom Allied Arts and the Skagit Art Association where she has been the Publicity Chairman for the last three years, performing functions such as creating and writing the computer graphic ads for their shows that run in various publications, liaison to the media and the public for art shows, and organizer of the professional musical performances during art shows. She attributes her success to her faith in God and just plain hard work.
