/24-7PressRelease/ - Chesapeake, VA, July 31, 2008, Aaron Bresnahan, Vice President of Navy Segment Ship Power at Wartsila Corporation, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of defense services.

With more than 17 years of professional experience, Mr. Bresnahan specializes in defense contracting and is responsible for overseeing technicians, sales, manufacturing propulsion systems and building client relationships on the national and international levels. Currently a Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve, he was a general sales manager at Wartsila Defense from 1999 to 2006 and a global director from 2006 to 2007 at Wartsila Propulsion, NL before re-joining Wartsila Defense. Mr. Bresnahan considers being involved in the aquisition of major government contracts to be the most rewarding aspect of his career and attributes his success to his hard work and education. He stays current with the trends in his profession by enrolling in continuing education courses and through networking. He feels that the most important issue facing his profession is the decreasing federal budget for ship building.

Mr. Bresnahan received his Master of Arts from Naval War College in 2005, his Master of Business Administration from Regent University in 1993, his Bachelor of Science from the United States Merchant Marine Academy in 1991, and his Third Assistant Engineers License in 1991. He is affiliated with the Society of Naval Architects & Marine Engineers, the Navy League of the United States, the American Society of Naval Engineers and the National War College Alumni Association. He continues to seek more challenging endeavors which will contribute to the expansion of the corporation.

Wartsila Defense, Inc. will be hosting an event for the expansion of the facility in October 2008.
