Linda C. Holtzclaw Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Artwork

Ms. Holtzclaw has more than 26 years of professional experience in artwork and specializes in sculpting bronze figures and creative glassworks.



    /24-7PressRelease/ - Orlando, FL, August 17, 2008, Linda C. Holtzclaw, Sculptor at Linda Holtzclaw Designs, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of artwork.

Ms. Holtzclaw has more than 26 years of professional experience in artwork and specializes in sculpting bronze figures and creative glassworks. Aside from overseeing the daily operations of her business, she is responsible for drawing layouts as well as creating sculptures and clay models. Her work has been displayed in many national design magazines such as The Menu Magazine, Florida Designers Quarterly and D cor and she has given lectures at the Morse Museum, the Cornell Fine Arts Museum and the Lake Highland Preparatory School. She became involved in her profession because of her work experience and love for artwork, and attributes her success to her hard work and perseverance. The highlight of her career was working with the late great Hugh McCain for an international show, where she was charged with sculpting a glass peacock for display at the Orlando Museum of Art. She also gifted a large sculpted glass decorative screen to a fundraising ball held by the American Heart Association.

Ms. Holtzclaw previously worked as a teacher at Lake Highland Preparatory School for 20 years. She has provided artwork for residential and commercial buildings, restaurants and churches including Crabtree & Evelyn, St. Luke's United Methodist Church and Maison et Jardin restaurant. Ms. Holtzclaw received her Bachelor's Degree from Florida Southern College and volunteered for Habitat for Humanity.
