The new vampire novel "The Vampire Valkyrie" has just been published by author Pete Klein and will soon be available at online retailers and traditional book stores.

Book reviewer Bob Medak says of the new vampire novel, "The Vampire Valkyrie": I would recommend this book as a good read, especially for those that read vampire stories. You will be pleasantly surprised my Mary and her friends.

/24-7PressRelease/ - INDIAN LAKE, NY, August 25, 2008 - This is a continuation of the story about Mary Hoffman, aka Erica, the Dancing Valkyrie.
This book contains a unique vampire, Mary, mobsters, FBI, and more than you think when the word vampire is in play.
Mary is not your typical live only in darkness type of vampire that is the vampire born in legend or the stories in movies or other books.

Mary might be an avenging angel from God; or she might be something else. Follow the story of Mary as she comes to terms with being a vampire and her role in the life of humans and vampires that walk among us in this tail, while appearing as much human as any other human you might meet in your daily life. Follow her as she becomes the protector for some humans while dispatching others and she begins to doubt herself and her motives.

If eroticism is not to your liking, there may be parts of this story that are not for you. I realize that eroticism is not for everyone, some of the interaction might be a bit much for some readers. That said; there is much in "The Vampire Valkyrie" that all of us can relate to, like, what is our reason for existence, is there a God? Even Mary has these questions, as we all do as many of us search for the meaning of life and our role in the game of life we are to play.

I found "The Vampire Valkyrie" a good read, and wish I had read the first book in the series. Mary is someone that, although has lived long, still has questions about her existence and things that humans do and the way they treat others.
I would recommend this book as a good read, especially for those that read vampire stories. You will be pleasantly surprised my Mary and her friends.

This is an above average book and should be on your reading list. I would start with the first in the series (The Dancing Valkyrie) to be up to speed, as this is the second book.
