/24-7PressRelease/ - CHICAGO, IL, September 11, 2008 - As 30,000 electronics professionals converged on Denver last week to check out the latest residential technology at CEDIA EXPO, industry peers honored Baumeister Electronic Architects with three national awards.
At Saturday's annual Electronic Lifestyles Awards Banquet, CEDIA (Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association) recognized Baumeister with the 2008 Overall Best Integrated Home Award for a stellar residence on Chicago's Lake Shore Drive. The home also received a Technical Design Award for excellence in integration. The project entailed creating audio/video, lighting control, security, climate, motorized cabinetry, and multimedia systems for a client with an extensive modern art collection. Baumeister's intuitive electronic design allows the homeowner and his family complete control of their living space and 3000 square-foot gallery.
Crestron Electronics also recognized Baumeister with a 2008 Integration Award for "Hi-Rise Living" on Friday evening. President George Feldstein presented the award to Chief Engineer Chris Behmer for system design and integration of a beautiful duplex home on Chicago's near north side. In addition to technical achievement, the project was honored for homeowner lifestyle benefits.
President John Baumeister reflected on the weekend's proceedings saying, "The Electronic Lifestyle Awards are the crowning achievement for industry recognition. More importantly, successfully integrating a home's systems helps our clients live their best lives. We're thrilled that our technology has become such a powerful part of their daily routine."
