With 40 years of professional experience in the classical music industry, Mr. Wood has been the president of C&K Artists, Ltd. for 11 years. An expert in managing classical musicians and concert planning, he is responsible for overseeing operations, making financial decisions and soliciting new business. Originally planning on having a career as a teacher, he entered the classical music industry when he met a famous conductor and became his assistant, then entered music publishing as an editor before becoming a director of marketing. He survived several business mergers and worked in Germany before starting C&K Artists, Ltd.

Mr. Wood received his Master of Arts in Music Composition from Southern Illinois University in 1974, where he also served as an adjunct faculty member. A member of the League of American Orchestras and the Association of Performing Arts Presenters, he also sits on the Advisory Board of the Montgomery County Association for the Blind. Mr. Wood is the author of his memoir, "The Truth and Other Lies," has produced award-winning classical music videos and was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in music. He attributes his success to his stubbornness, hard work and never saying "no," and hopes to experience continued growth in his business, return to Europe and continue writing.
