Oklahoma's Largest Haunted Attraction Will Open on October 3, 2008

Oklahoma's largest haunted attraction, the Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park, is pleased to announce that on October 3rd, it will once again open the gates to terrify all who enter.

LAWTON, OK, October 03, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Situated in Lawton, Oklahoma, the Trail of Fear is the largest haunted attraction in Oklahoma and caters to willing victims in the Texoma and surrounding regions who dare to enter the three terrifying attractions: the Trail of Fear, the Cirque De Morte, and the Hackensaw Hayride. The Trail of Fear also has a non-scary attraction just for the kids: The Pumpkin Junction.

"We are very excited about this year's haunted attraction, "states co-owner and co-operator, Mr. Robert Wright JR. "We are expanding the Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park to include a new attraction, the Cirque de Morte, as well as offering new ways to purchase tickets online to avoid long waits in line."

Customers who enter the Scream Park are bound to have a fun time as they walk through the midway and interact with costumed characters, play games, and eat a variety of great food. Customers can even have their fortunes told by the mesmerizing Lady Contessa DeFrouget. Customers have the option of choosing between the three main attractions as well as the Pumpkin Junction.

The oldest attraction, the Trail of Fear, is a terrifying journey through winding pathways and scare scenes. Customers can even enter the 'Pyramid of Doom' and a fantasy forest filled with creatures and things that go 'bump' in the night. This attraction is aimed at customers that are looking for a scare, but it isn't too scary!

The Hackensaw Hayride is an absolute scream fest for those that are over ten and looking for a highly intense attraction where inbred creatures feast on unsuspecting trespassers. This is also the last year to experience the Hackensaw Haunted Hayride, which has been a favorite ride of haunted attraction enthusiasts for the last few years. Due to the growth and popularity of the attraction, the organizers felt it was time to introduce new and exciting rides in 2009.

The Cirque de Morte, is a new addition to the Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park. The creatures and demented clowns invite customers to find their way out of a circus maze and 3-D haunted house while being tormented at every turn. This attraction is unique to the Trail of Fear Scream Park and incorporates the only 3-D haunted attraction in the area.

The Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park is not only for the brave or the older customers but can also be fun for the entire family. The Pumpkin Junction incorporates activities, trick-or-treats, storytellers, and non-scary costumed actors.

The Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park is located at 11101 SE Lee Blvd, Lawton, OK 73501, 6.7 miles east of I-44 on Highway 7 / Lee Blvd. The gates open at 7:00 PM starting on October 3rd-4th, 10th-12th, 16th-19th, and on Wednesdays through Sunday starting October 22nd until November 1st. Tickets can be bought online or at the ticket booth. Prices vary based on attraction. Group tickets and multi-attraction packages are also available.

About Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park

Located in Lawton, Oklahoma, the Trail of Fear Haunted Scream Park began as a single attraction in 1998 when co-owner, Mr. Robert Wright SR, decided to prop up a tent and create an outdoor maze on his property so people of his community could enjoy themselves on Halloween. It generated such a positive reaction that Mr. Wright continued to grow his haunted attraction to what it is today - the largest haunted attraction in Oklahoma and soon to be one of the top haunted attractions in the United States.
