BRECKENRIDGE, MO, October 9, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mary L. Davis, Director, Chief Financial Officer, Singer and Songwriter for Mary L. Davis Ministries, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of musical performance.

Ms. Davis brings more than 35 years of singing and songwriting experience to Mary L. Davis Ministries. As director and CFO, she is also responsible for managing the financial operations of the ministry. Prior to establishing Mary L. Davis Ministries, she worked in bus and rest home ministries and taught in a Christian school, where she also coached the girls' volleyball and basketball teams. She also worked as a church secretary, as a counselor in the youth department and taught junior church.

An accomplished singer and songwriter, Ms. Davis released two professionally recorded CDs in 2007. The music is being aired on various Christian radio stations in the USA as well as Uganda, Malawi, Liberia, Ghana, and Kenya, Africa. Ms. Davis is actively exploring the many other outlets for these CDs in other countries around the world. Mary has had the honor of interviewing many great performers in the Southern Gospel industry. She is registered as an artist and publishing company with Broadcast Music, Inc, which handles her music and publishing royalties.

Ms. Davis completed coursework in missionary studies at Baptist Bible College. She attended the Ben Speer's Stamps Baxter School of Music in 2007 and 2008 and is a member of the Gospel Music Association and The Southern Gospel Music Association. She frequently sings at various meetings and churches across the nation. Ms. Davis and her husband, Evangelist John Davis, work as a team -- Mr. Davis does the preaching and Mary sings. She acted as the press agent for The Gospel Station Network at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville in September 2008 and is a supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
