Cua-Christman, Consultant on Radiation, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety at Christman Cua Associates, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of radiation safety and protection.

With an impressive background that spans over 35 years, Dr. Cua-Christman specializes in radiation safety and health physics. She performs microwave and radiation hazard surveys on dental, veterinary and cabinet X-ray machines, scanning electron microscopes and X-ray diffraction and X-ray fluorescence machines. As a consultant, she is responsible for isotope dispensing, air sampling, particle counting and managing, treating and disposing of the inventory of hazardous radioactive wastes. Dr. Cua-Christman is also extremely interested in teleportation and time travel, genetically engineered foods, cloning, regeneration of limbs, artificial intelligence, robotics and mechatronics, quantum computers, DNA computing, scanning tunneling microscopy, nanotechnology and other new advances in science, engineering and technology including biotechnology.

Dr. Cua-Christman served as a Balik scientist for the Radiation Protection Section of the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute in 1998. In 1992, she was a research assistant to Dr. Beverly Cohen and studies alpha track etch, smoking problems, tracheobronchial cast deposition, radon, particle sizing and aerosol instrumentation. She has an extensive experience with the use of Tandem Van de Graaff and the Van de Graaff accelerator for analysis of proton-induced X-ray and gamma-ray emission, reactors, radiation dosimetry and instrumentation, atomic absorption spectrometry, direct current plasma atomic emission spectrometers, UV-VIS spectrometers, X-ray diffraction units, scanning electron microscope X-ray microanalysis, gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry, gas and vapor analyzers, aerosol sampling instruments and ventilation measurements. From 1977 to 1980, Dr. Cua-Christman participated in the Marshall Islands Radiological Safety Program at the Safety and Environmental Protection Division of the Brookhaven National Laboratory held by the United States Department of Energy.

A product of Rutgers University, Dr. Cua-Christman received her Master of Science in Environmental Science in 1991 and her Master of Science in Radiation Science in 1978. She also received her Master of Science in Bionucleonics from Purdue University in 1981 and graduated magna cum laude in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the College of the Holy Spirit Manila. Dr. Cua-Christman is affiliated with the Philippine-American Academy of Science & Engineering and the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute and volunteers for the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation. She aspires to measure radiation in space and make a series of videos and books on radiation facts and fiction. Her future plans include branching into diffusion wave optical tomography, medical physics and radiation research.
