Getting the Best Breast Enhancement

Size is only one part of the formula for great-looking breasts. Women think breast enhancement is the same as breast enlargement, but if you are considering breast enhancement surgery, it's important not to get too caught up in mere size.

SEATTLE, WA, November 05, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- According to a survey in Cosmopolitan Magazine, 95% of women are dissatisfied with the size of their breasts. I'd hate to cast blame for this, but of course the majority of readers who every month see a homogenized image of a woman with perfectly pert, perfectly airbrushed large breasts will feel unsatisfied about their own breast size. The truth is that too many women put too much emphasis on mere size. But size is only one part of the formula for great-looking breasts. Women think breast enhancement is the same as breast enlargement, but if you are considering breast enhancement surgery, it's important not to get too caught up in mere size. There are many factors in considering what makes breasts attractive, and bigger is not always better.

Size Matters . . . a Little

Let's get this out of the way--most men do prefer women with larger breasts. But every man has a bell curve (or, we might say, belle curve) of breast preference, and at a certain point, the larger the breasts the less attractive they appear. In most surveys asking men to name women with the best-looking breasts, men choose women with B- and C-cup breasts. Although women with D-cup breasts do show up on the lists, too, they are less likely to show up on men's lists of general attractiveness. If you have B- or C-cup breasts but have always felt they were too small, you have either been misled by Cosmunist propaganda or they are disproportionate to your body, which we will address below.

And then there are the women who have always felt their breasts are too large. These women not only feel uncomfortable with unwanted attention from some men, but also often suffer from self-esteem problems as they feel they have a "babushka" type body. For these women, breast reduction, not enlargement, is the real breast enhancement.

Golden Ratios

More important than the size of a woman's breasts are their proportion to her body. Although most people consider actress Scarlett Johansson to have very large breasts, they are actually just C-cups that look large in proportion to her short 5' 4" body. What really helps her appearance is that it is not just her breasts that convey a curvaceous impression, but her entire figure harmonizes with her breasts. If your body as a whole is slender, large breasts can look unnatural and unattractive. Make sure you consider these factors in making decisions about your breast enhancement surgery.

Moving on Up

As important as size is position and shape of breasts. Sagging breasts are a woman's second-greatest complaint about their bodies, especially their post-pregnancy bodies. When breasts gain volume due to pregnancy, then lose that volume, they can gain a significant sag. This can cause the nipples to turn downward, which is often considered to be unattractive. If a woman's breasts are located too low on the chest, even if they are not really sagging, they may also convey a matronly appearance. Breast lifts, and in some cases, breast lifts with implants, can correct sagging breasts

Fullness

Many women (also probably because of Cosmo pictures) are also concerned when they can't get good cleavage in blouses. The ability to achieve cleavage is related to breast fullness, or the proportionate width of breasts compared to the width of the chest. A woman with good-sized breasts should be able to achieve cleavage comfortably using the right bra. Some women think they should have cleavage without a bra, but breasts that have cleavage without a bra look crowded on the chest. In getting a breast enhancement operation, emphasis should be put not on achieving cleavage without a bra, but, instead, on what is known as the lateral chest break, the amount of breast that projects over the side of the rib cage. This is important to help establish balance with a woman's hips, especially if she has a naturally pear-shaped body.
