ALBUQUERQUE, NM, November 19, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Michael Andrew Lepsis, Charge Nurse at Presbyterian Healthcare Services, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of nursing.

Mr. Lepsis has 10 years of professional experience and he specializes in medical-surgical nursing and cardiology. He is responsible for managing patient care and shifts, providing care on the surgical care floor and supervising nurses and staff. After being inspired by the nurses who took compassionate care of his uncle in the trauma unit, he developed a desire for nursing. Mr. Lepsis has published his poetry online through a publishing company and has received the Achievement Awards for poetry. He attributes his success to the inspiration he receives from his father.

Mr. Lepsis received an Associate's Degree in Nursing from Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute in 1996. In addition, he is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and certification in medical-surgical nursing. He is a member of the Academy of Medical Surgical Nurses and is a supporter of the United Way and the New Mexico State Police.
