With four years of professional experience, Ms. Harrison specializes in facial portraits, nature and headshot photography. As owner of Chawne's Creations, she is responsible for managing operations and designing and offering ready-to-buy products. She decided to begin producing and selling her own artwork after trying to find a unique gift for her mother. She believes that "talent is a gift that is combined with practice." In addition to her independent artwork, she is a senior engineer at Pepco and attributes her success to her diligence and belief in herself.

Ms. Harrison is a 2002 recipient of the Distinguished Graduate Award from Maryland Board of Education Title I Program. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Science and Electrical Engineering from Gannon University. In her spare time, she supports United Way, the Smithsonian Institution, the Nature Conservancy, the Sierra Club, Saving the Chesapeake Bay and the World Wildlife Fund. She has been a member of Phi Sigma Sigma and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Her future plans include expanding her business by hiring more employees and obtaining a trademark.
