SAINT LOUIS, MO, December 11, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pamela Smith-Albright, educator and teacher for the St. Louis Board of Education, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of education.

Mrs. Smith-Albright's desire to work with youngsters prompted her to pursue a career in the field of education 29 years ago and she has since become a communication and elementary education expert. Mrs. Smith-Albright has served in many capacities in the SLPS district: vocal music teacher, science club sponsor, MAP facilitator, mentor, and as union (Local 420) building rep. She attributes her success to the continuous support she receives from her family.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Harris-Stowe State College. She holds certification in kindergarten through eighth grade elementary education and certification in kindergarten through ninth grade vocal music. She is a member of the American Federation of Teachers, Local 420, MSTA, Conservatory of Contemporary Arts (COCA), and Grace United Methodist Church. In the future, Mrs. Smith-Albright hopes to work as a counselor or speech therapist.
