SHREVEPORT, LA, December 13, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jeanette A. Owens, Registered Radiologic Technologist at Willis-Knighton Health System, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of radiology.

With 16 years of professional experience, Ms. Owens works in The Heart Institute and supports electrophysiology catheterization with diagnostic imaging as well as assisting the physician in other areas during the procedures. The inspiration she received from her family doctor prompted her to become involved in her profession and she attributes her success to her hard work, determination and ability to provide the best services to her patients. She considers helping people who have many different disabilities due to heart problems to be the most gratifying aspect of her career.

Ms. Owens received her Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology in 1991. She is a member of the Louisiana Society of Radiologic Technologists and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and participates in the activities of the local church. In addition, she is an excellent singer, music director and cook.
