Ms. Davis has 25 years of experience in healthcare, which she has brought to her position as registered nurse, Staff Development/Quality Management Coordinator for Innovative Claims Strategies, LLC. She considers herself an asset in teaching and staff development, and prides herself in being the go-to person in her company for her fellow nurses. On a daily basis, Ms. Davis is responsible for assisting in the development of a quality management process by which she performs QA reviews on an ongoing basis to ensure consistent excellence in performance. She is also involved in developing a training manual and program for new employees as well as assisting in the development of policies and procedures. Innovative Claims Strategies, LLC is a medical claims management company that provides medical and health claims processing services. In 1983, Ms. Davis received her registered nursing degree from Charles E. Gregory School of Nursing. Additionally, she is a member of the Case Management Society of America, and also works as a field nurse for Unival for whom she conducts onsite visits to independent practitioners and health care facilities as part of the credentialing process to become preferred providers for various health insurance companies. Ms. Davis is also an on-call nurse specialist/nurse educator for The Therapeutic Institute of inVentiv Health. This role takes her all over the country educating health care providers in the use of various health care products for the companies she represents. In the future she hopes to focus on improving the standards of today's health care system.
