Williams Whittle Advertising Launches Digital Division

What clients love is the absolute trackability of their online investment. The old saw about not knowing which half of your advertising budget is wasted is a thing of the past. You now know what every dollar produces because we're able to track all of the spending.

ALEXANDRIA, VA, February 25, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Williams Whittle (www.williamswhittle.com), a 42-year old ad agency, announced today that it has formed a division that will focus exclusively on online marketing. The division, named Williams Whittle Digital (WWD) (www.williamswhittledigital.com), also announces that it has projects for four new clients that are digital-only clients. They are Travel Dynamics International (www.traveldynamicsinternational.com), a cruise ship line; Five Guys Burgers and Fries (www.fiveguys.com); IMG (www.imgartists.com), an international arts management company; and Choral Arts of Washington (www.choralarts.org).

Rob Whittle, president and CEO of Williams Whittle, said, "WWD is a web marketing entity as opposed to a web development unit. We have been doing online marketing for Williams Whittle clients like NVR, the USO, Georgetown University and Fairfax County Convention and Visitors Bureau for years. We perceive an urgent need for online marketing in the client niches in which we operate."

The services offered by WWD include behavioral targeting, paid Search, Mobile marketing, email marketing and Social/Viral marketing. WWD develops its Flash creative products, including video, in-house.

"What clients love is the absolute trackability of their online investment," said Whittle. "The old saw about not knowing which half of your advertising budget is wasted is a thing of the past. You now know what every dollar produces because we're able to track all of the spending."

WWD is staffed with a combination of web-savvy new hires and extensively-trained agency veterans. Director of Media Services Wendy Weaver brings her deep media experience and judgment to bear on new technologies to provide unmatched expertise to online media buying. Senior Art Director Mark Zenone meshes his web expertise with a sophisticated creative style to produce a level of work not commonly seen on the Internet.

"Being able to competently lead our clients through this ever-evolving web of opportunities has been a kick for me personally," said Whittle. "I've seen our agency evolve for many years, but now I see it every day. There's nothing more satisfying than watching success in action."
