IRVING, TX, March 10, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Jon Senkowsky of Cardiovascular Specialty Associates of North Texas, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of vascular surgery and surgical critical care.

With 25 years of experience specializing in vascular surgery and surgical critical care, Dr. Senkowsky is tasked with performing surgery and providing pre- and post-operative care. His medical interests include aneurysms, arterial surgery, endovascular surgery, venous surgery and wound care.

Dr. Senkowsky received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Southwestern at Dallas and his Bachelor of Science from Tulane University in 1979. He completed his general surgery internship, surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Senkowsky is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Fort Worth Surgical Society, the Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society, the Southwestern Surgical Society and the Tarrant County Medical Society. He is also Past President of the Rocky Mountain Traumatologic Society.
