/24-7PressRelease/ - LOS ANGELES, CA, November 07, 2005 -- LearnOutLoud.com, an online resource for audio and video learning material, announces the launch of the Internet's largest directory of free educational audio and video content (http://www.learnoutloud.com/free). This directory contains over five hundred free titles including audio books, historical speeches and university lectures.

"We're incredibly impressed by all of the high quality free audio and video material on the Internet," said LearnOutLoud.com CEO and Founder Jon Bischke. "What we've tried to do with our free directory is bring together the best resources that people can use to learn from and be inspired by."

Some examples of popular titles that are included in the directory include Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech (courtesy of AmericanRhetoric.com), Lawrence Lessig's audio book Free Culture (courtesy of FreeCulture.org), Common Sense by Thomas Paine (courtesy of FreeAudio.org) and an audio version of one of Seth Godin's new titles Knock Knock (courtesy of TheBasement.com). In addition, collections of dozens of video lectures from MIT and links to hundreds of sermons from sources such as SermonAudio.com and SermonIndex.net can be found.

In addition to links to external sites, LearnOutLoud.com has produced dozens of its own free audio titles for the directory. Examples of free audio books that can be downloaded include Ralph Waldo Emerson's Self Reliance and James Allen's As a Man Thinketh. Other titles include "The Prayer of St. Francis", Rudyard Kipling's "If" and exclusive audio guides to self development titles, foreign language courses and other subjects.

"We see this free audio and video directory as being a great complement to our educational podcast directory and an excellent resource for students and lifelong learners everywhere," said Bischke. "There's something special about hearing a speech by Gandhi or JFK, listening to a Billy Graham sermon, or watching a lecture from Bill Gates that is really tough to match. We want to help to bring that to as many people around the world as possible."
