BEAVER FALLS, PA, April 1, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rodney Smith, Lead Pastor for the Chippewa United Methodist Church, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of religious services.

Mr. Smith has 33 years of professional experience and nine years in preaching worship and supervising 21 full-time and part-time employees. He became involved in his profession because he felt it was a calling from God and attributes his success to the support he receives from his teachers and mentors. In 1979, Mr. Smith received his Master of Arts in Divinity from Drew Seminary. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Grove City College in 1976.

In addition to receiving the Deman Evangelism Award in 1999, Mr. Smith received the Basketball Coach of the Year. He received the Western Pennsylvania Annual Conference Outstanding Citizen from the Kane County Chamber of Commerce in 1996.
