Dr. Mary Lamb Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Nursing Education

    GREENVILLE, SC, December 14, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mary Lamb, Professor of Nursing at Bob Jones University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of nursing education.

Dr. Lamb has 26 years of professional experience, 18 of which have been in her current position at Bob Jones University. Her expertise lies in training and consulting with foreign nursing schools regarding curriculum development. She notes that she became involved in her profession because of an innate interest in the education and nursing fields. Dr. Lamb is currently involved in developing the 'Esther Scholarship Fund,' a grant to enable foreign nursing students to attend nursing schools in the United States.

A passion for helping and educating people are the keys to Dr. Lamb's success. She considers working at Shanghai International School of Nursing (SIHS) and helping to update the Chinese healthcare system to be the highlights of her career. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, her Master of Science in Nursing from Florida State University, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama, and her Bachelor of Arts in Missions from Bob Jones University. She is a member of the SIHS International Committee of Nursing Educators and aspires to establish a nursing college in Indonesia.
