Chatham, New York, June 18, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Patrice Maynard, the Leader of Outreach & Development for the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America, whose curriculum was designed to meet the various stages of child development, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in outreach and development.

With over two decades of experience working in education, Ms. Maynard has spent the past eight years providing enthusiastic support for Waldorf Education as a tool for future-bearing ideas. She conducts workshops, handles the development of projects that deserve foundation-root fundraising and oversees that the Office of Outreach and Development is running smoothly. Prior to working in her current position, Ms. Maynard was a class and Waldorf music teacher for grades 1-8. She also worked in administration fundraising and developing budgets. Ms. Maynard attributes her success to a passion for helping the community and hard work. She has always loved children and has plenty of teaching experience, so she is good on her feet and adept at advocacy. Coming from a family that valued education, she learned the importance of it early on and became inspired by her own teachers.

Ms. Maynard received her Master's Degree in Education from Antioch University in 1991. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the National Association of Independent Schools, the Council for American Private Education and the National Council for Private School Accreditation. Ms. Maynard is also a published poet, writer and public speaker and enjoys hiking and quilting. In five years, Ms. Maynard plans to be in the same place, and she anticipates increased community recognition and support for Waldorf Education.
