Punit Singh Parasher Stands Out as a Professional in Medicine

Dr. Parasher belongs to the American College of Cardiology



Physician Punit Singh Parasher, FACC, was honored with receiving the award for Outstanding Cardiology fellow and for being named Chief Fellow during his cardiology training.

    GLENDALE, AZ, November 11, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Physician Punit Singh Parasher, FACC, has been recognized for showing dedicat1on, leadership and excellence in cardiology.

Dr. Parasher has spent his professional years as an expert in cardiology services, and has been in practice for four years. He concentrates in the areas of preventive cardiology, hypertension, heart failure and coronary artery disease. He chose this particular profession because of a deep-seated compassion to help people lead happy and healthy lives and to care for them through sickness, when they are at their most vulnerable. He attributes his success to staying grounded and humbled by the need to remain vigilant and conscientious when caring for patients, and by his determination to continue broadening his practice-based management through interactions with his patients and through a lifelong commitment to learning and self-improvement.

He earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in 2004, completed his residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic, completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Texas at Houston, and conducted a research fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the University of California at San Francisco. He was honored with receiving the award for Outstanding Cardiology fellow and for being named Chief Fellow during his cardiology training.

Recently, Dr. Parasher was honored for his excellence in the field with an induction into Worldwide Registry and he also maintains affiliations with the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association. Outside of the demands of a busy medical career, he supports various charities and enjoys spending time with his wife and 17-month-old daughter. In five years, Dr. Parasher intends to focus on systems-based practices to improve the efficiency with which medicine is practiced, he intends to continue focusing on methods of optimizing patient care and he hopes to provide leadership in the field of cardiology and within his community.
