In Spite of All the Extraordinary Strides That the Mind Sciences Have Made, Our Experts are Still Confused about Wisdom and Genius

This lack of clarity is a symptom of our hugely damaging ignorance on the difference between the brain (education) and mind (education). The very nature of individual lives and society is pegged to this ignorance.



Brain education is many times more essential than mind education; yet it is misunderstood, ignored & mismanaged. This ignorant behavior is generating most of the man made ills of society.

    RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ, December 11, 2014 /24-7PressRelease/ -- How can we educate both the brain and mind to the most efficient level when we are confused about the relationship and differences between the brain and mind.

We are the way we are dependent on how well our brains and minds function; that in turn depends on how well each individual and collective brain and mind is educated.

Yesterday on the Brian Lehrer show they were talking about the difference between wisdom and genius. Mr. Lehera is one of those rare experts who is a genius and a wise person; yet he is foggy about the wisdom and genius relationship, as is practically almost all of our education leadership. This fogginess has a direct bearing on the whole education system and it has a rippling effect on all society.

It is high time that our education leadership woke up to the fact that genius is produced by the highest level mind education. While wisdom is produced by the highest level of emotional health. Genius has to do with acquiring complete knowable knowledge to the extent that one expands its boundaries and wisdom has to do with making the brain emotionally and physically super healthy. The mind functions in words and the brain in physical biochemical reactions.

We teach the mind knowledge through words; that the mind understands and grasps. No wonder mind education is cutting edge and all round progress is being made in mind/regular education. We also teach wisdom through words and it does not work simply because by the time the child enters Pre-K the brain has already laid out the physical neuron pathways that churn out biochemical reactions in response to instructions that come in via words. When the brain translates the new knowledge on wisdom from words into biochemical reactions; it is like pouring fresh water into a glass that is generating its own stale water. The new knowledge gets polluted too.

Wisdom is an emotion that is generated by an emotionally healthy brain. Wisdom education is not about teaching wisdom in words; it is about brain therapy that takes an emotionally challenged brain and heals it into an emotionally healthy brain.

By the time the child is six years old its wisdom education is well set; as the brain's physical neuron pathways are well set. Thus for Wisdom Education, our education system must focus on the first nine months of womb-life and the first six years of life. For those older we must create wisdom seminars that heal the brain into emotional health.

Our education leadership must wake up to the fact that a brain that is physically neuron wired to generate ignorance; cannot be transformed to start generating wisdom by being taught in words the principles of wisdom. Try teaching through words to a nitrogen machine to start producing oxygen.

It is mind education that generates the economic gains and how these economic assets are spent is determined by the emotional health of the brain; which is determined early on by the end of the first six years of life.

All the great progress in mind education has not taken away the ills of American society. We still have class divides, crime, drug addictions, sleeplessness, student dropouts, in fact all the ills of society; simply because we have misunderstood, mismanaged and ignored brain education.

All that mind/regular education can do is prepare man for making a living and helping in managing the miseducated brain. To not just remove the ills of society but also to create a wise society with pure happiness, emotional and physical super health; along with permanent and growing wealth; our education leadership will have to wake up to the reality of brain education.

Brain education is many times more essential than mind education; yet it is misunderstood, ignored & mismanaged. This ignorant behavior is costing us much emotional, economic and physical pain; on top of depriving the majority of Americans a life of wisdom.

I have published hundreds of articles on brain/emotional-intelligence/wisdom education but no one is listening. My job is done and it is now up to our leaders to wake up and take action.
