Bedford Texas Nail Artist Nancy Nguyen of Nails by Nancy Wins Salon and Spa Galleria's Before-and-After Photo Contest

    FORT WORTH, TX, April 16, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- More than 90 sets of before and after photographs posted to Nancy Nguyen's Instagram (@wowfancynails20) helped her win first place in Salon and Spa Galleria's recent before-and-after photo contest.

"I like to use Instagram and Facebook to share before-and-after photos of my work," said Nancy Nguyen, the owner of Fancy Nails by Nancy. "Sharing the photos has helped new manicure and pedicure clients find me and helped my existing clients stay current with trends and see possible new looks and colors for their nails," said Nguyen.

"Our goal was to remind the independent beauty professionals who are our tenants to showcase their work on social media so that we continue to make our salons the top-of-mind locations for a whole range of beauty services," said Salon and Spa Galleria Manager Jennifer Knittel.

As the winner of the contest, Nguyen will receive an additional free week of salon suite rent when the Fort Worth-based salon suite rental chain can reopen its nine locations. Because of COVID 19, the salon chain has paused rent for all its approximately 275 tenants and is assisting them in applying for SBA loans through Happy State Bank SBA Loan Specialist David Weiner.

Salon and Spa Galleria is a family-owned chain that offers salon suites for rent to aspiring beauty professionals who chose to operate as independents. "We are fortunate that we own our salon locations, and, even though we have mortgages to pay on the properties, we have enough capital to help our salon owner tenants weather this difficult time," added Knittel.

"We're making a push to get entrepreneurs in our community up and going again when this crisis has passed," said Weiner.

Salon and Spa Galleria's leasing agents have been adding tenants because they are offering move in specials that include up to 12 weeks of free rent after salons reopen. "We're doing all we can right now to help our salon tenants get through Corona," said Knittel.
