Coastal Windows & Exteriors Sponsors Beverly 30th Anniversary Community Block Party for Beverly Bootstraps

Over the years, Coastal Windows has donated to almost every program we run. They are terrific corporate partners and have made a difference." Chris Nazareth, Dir. of Dev. & External Affairs.

BEVERLY, MA, September 27, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Celebrating decades of community support, Coastal Windows & Exteriors was proud to be the Snack Bag Build Sponsor at Beverly Bootstraps' 30th Anniversary Celebration on September 24, 2022. This donation helps provide food to at risk children in the community with healthy food options this week. The Snack Bag Build will provide 750 healthy snack bags for Beverly Bootstraps' Kids Eat Healthy Initiative through a partnership with Beverly Public Schools and their Kids Weekend Food program. The need is growing and Coastal Windows & Exteriors donation is helping all kids in our communities that are experiencing food insecurity. "We believe no child should go hungry or worry about their next meal-same as our mission to feel secure with a roof over one's head, so we are committed to supporting our local children in need," said Stephanie Vanderbilt, owner of Coastal Windows & Exteriors.

"All the snacks that you provide will be part of the snack bag buld which will go right into our pantry and be available for pantry clients to get the following week," Chris Nazareth, Beverly Bootstraps, Director of Development and External Affairs.

In addition to the block party, Coastal Windows & Exteriors is supporting Beverly Bootstraps in a number of ways. Since 2011, Coastal has donated over $10,000 to Beverly Bootstraps. This includes the mission of ensuring that every home has a roof over its head with food on the table, including carrying on the Norman Rockwell's Freedom From Want tradition by donating Thanksgiving Day Turkey Dinners, supporting the company's ongoing mission to give back to the community. "Henry's Market is excited for the opportunity to partner up with our good friends at Coastal Windows & Exteriors," said Mike Halle, Operations Manager at Henry's Market. "The challenges brought forth by the pandemic have caused a dramatic increase of food insecurity throughout the North Shore. Stephanie and her team make it a priority to creatively find ways to give back to our community in need, and we're proudly here to help lend support in that noble cause."

While food is a staple for every home, heat and comfort are equally important. Living in the New England climate, Coastal Windows & Exteriors believes that no family should go without heat and a comfortable place to call home so they continue to donate matched sales to their Gift of Heat program. Coastal Windows & Exteriors believes that no family should have to decide between putting food on the table or heating their home.

This winter, gas and electricity prices are increasing between 39%-50%. Meanwhile, Farmers' Almanac predicts that frigid temperatures will flow into the Northeast, leaving homeowners shaking and shivering. Drifts of snow and icy winds are on the horizon. The Gift of Heat program perfectly coincides with Coastal's Back-to-Home mission for the autumn season preparing for the upcoming Winter season.

The company can help families throughout the North Shore and the surrounding communities prepare their homes for the Fall and Winter season ahead. Coastal Windows & Exteriors is a leading exterior remodeling company that maximizes home performance, improves indoor comfort, and enhances energy savings. Homeowners can create a more comfortable home with our energy efficient replacement windows. Crafted from vinyl and professionally installed, these windows have the lowest air infiltration ratings in the industry. A low air infiltration rating means the windows will block out drafts while saving energy. Drafty windows account for up to 25% of a home's energy loss.

In addition to windows, insulated house siding helps to protect New England homes from the cold and elements. Old siding can lose up to 30% of your home's heat through thermal bridging. Insulated vinyl siding with Houswrap, James Hardie with HardieWrap and Rigid Foam, or Everlast composite siding will reduce air infiltration and improve the home's thermal envelope.

GAF asphalt roofing systems and True Nature metal roofing are designed to protect what matters most. Asphalt shingles and exceptional ventilation protect from ice dams. Meanwhile, interlocking panels on metal roofing can withstand winter's strongest wind storms. Roughly 25% of your home's heat is lost through the attic space in the winter. New roofing can help prevent unnecessary energy loss.

Along with snack bags, school supplies and turkey donations, Coastal Windows & Exteriors has also donated school supplies, winter gear for kids such as mittens and hats, and participated in the Winter Wishes Holiday program to provide families with holiday gifts.

"We have worked with Coastal Windows for years. They are very much a part of our 30 years of service to the community and we are so grateful for the long time relationship and consistent support!" Sue Gabriel, Executive Director

Beverly Bootstraps provides critical resources to families and individuals so they may achieve self-sufficiency. They offer emergency housing and long-term assistance including access to food, housing stability, adult and youth programs, education, counseling, and advocacy. They are community-funded and supported. "Thank you Coastal for the Snacks you provided today go towards our pantry guests and we will distribute them to families with school aged children this upcoming week." Beth Bahret, Food Assistance Supervisor

Coastal Windows & Exteriors continues to serve the community in every way possible, including through the Back-to-Home Winter Ready sale. The Back-to-Home promotion can help local homeowners improve their homes from the inside out, bringing peace of mind and comfort to every residence in New England.
