Award-Winning Lifestyle Blogger, Mentor and Author Susan "Honey" Good Selected for Inclusion in Marquis Who's Who; One of Only a Dozen Women Bloggers Over 50

Good Channels All Her Life Experiences into Her Website, HoneyGood.com, and Her Related Ventures

CHICAGO, IL, October 20, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Award-winning lifestyle blogger, influencer and author Susan "Honey" Good, founder and owner of HoneyGood.com, and its Chicago-based parent company, Gramma Good, LLC, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. She is one of only a dozen women bloggers over 50 to be featured in Marquis Who's Who, both print and online. Her biography is published online and her profile will appear in the print edition next year.

As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, profiled individuals are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Nine years ago, Honey Good started her namesake blog, HoneyGood.com, after journaling daily for three months to find her authentic voice. She empowers women after the age of 50, helping them navigate and celebrate life as they age. A trusted mentor and authentic storyteller, she teaches the art of visibility, style, and empowerment. Honey Good inspires, advises and educates women 50+ across her Honey Good ventures and leads by example, encouraging her readers to celebrate life by embracing its joys and by overcoming its challenges -- particularly the emotional tests as they age. Honey's advice ranges from how to discover one's own inner and outer beauty, overcoming invisibility, and finding new friends after 50, to traveling the world in style, transitioning to a new life from the heartbreak of losing a spouse (she was widowed in her forties), navigating life during rejection by an adult child, and learning to live with the horrors of suicide in a family.

"I never dreamed I would start a movement encouraging women after 50 to Celebrate Life," she said. "I am an authentic storyteller who mentors women through my musings and videos on ways every woman can embrace her visibility and empowerment, and walk through her life with style after 50."

In addition to her website and social channels, Honey Good manages Celebrate Life After 50, her private Facebook group for thousands of women members worldwide.

Honey Good has been honored numerous times. She was named a Top 50 Over 50 Influencer by the UK-based Platinum magazine, profiled in a major article about women's multi-general groups in The Sunday New York Times and selected as one of the Fierce 50 Over 50 Women by Chicago Woman magazine. Her blog was named Best Grandparent Website by Grand magazine and a Best Baby Boomer Blog by Feedspot.com. In 2019, she also won the National Parenting Product Award for her interactive keepsake journal, Stories for My Grandchild: A Grandmother's Journal, published by Abrams Noterie in New York. Abrams invited her to write the book because they said she's a "Cool 21st Century Grandmother" who openly shares her own experiences, ancestry, lessons and love that can be passed down to grandchildren and their children. Her beautifully-illustrated heirloom journal, now in its second printing, affords grandmothers a rare opportunity to describe who they really are as the co-authors of their own stories which they complete in their own handwriting. Grandmothers answer the thoughtful prompts and gift their completed books to future generations.

Honey Good is also a wife, mother, daughter and grandmother of 25, friend to many and an active member of her community. She is married to Real Estate Icon Sheldon F. Good, the real estate auction pioneer, whom she married in 1991. The couple is pictured in celebrity author Ari Seth Cohen's book, "Advanced Love."

Before embarking upon her professional journey, Honey Good completed coursework at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Outside of her primary career path, she aligns herself with the Art Institute of Chicago, The Arts Club, Chicago Yacht Club and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Additionally, she is a board member of the Jewish National Fund and devotes her time and energy to the Gary Sinise Foundation and the local chapter of Wounded Warriors. She and her husband, Sheldon F. Good, are supporters of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC and their names appear on the major donor wall inside the Museum.

In a career filled with highlights, she is most proud of surviving cancer as well as a variety of other challenges throughout her life, and thriving after each. She believes that a survivor learns many qualities over a lifetime. Because of this ability to survive, she has been able to impart it to other women of all ages through her writing and storytelling. That, to her, is very fulfilling.

Looking toward the future, Honey Good intends to remain authentic, resilient and positive, and to continue helping women after 50 to do the same.
