His tenure at InterMetro Industries Corporation from 2013 to 2021 further solidified his reputation as a leader in the field. Initially serving as the supply chain manager, he later became instrumental in relocating operations from Philadelphia to Acuña, Mexico. Despite facing resistance and challenges, he led a successful transition and improved on-time delivery rates through innovative strategies like the push-pull system.

Mr. Smith's earlier roles include serving as the production and inventory control manager at InterMetro from 2010 to 2013 and as a supervisor at Emerson Commercial & Residential Solutions from 2004 to 2010. He began his storied career at American Silk Mills in 1994 as an inventory control manager, where he gained valuable insights into textile manufacturing and inventory management.

Academically, Mr. Smith laid a strong foundation for his later achievements and leadership roles with a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance and operations management from Wilkes University, completed in 2006. Before venturing onto his vocational path, he earned a bachelor's degree in business from the same institution in 1995. To expand his knowledge and qualifications, he has successfully completed multiple LinkedIn courses in supply chain analytics and Microsoft Excel operations. Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Smith has been actively involved in civic activities, notably serving as a youth football coach for eight years.
