Mr. Saiz has established a distinguished career in safety management, currently serving as the Safety Manager at K.G. Walters Construction since 2024. In this role, he is responsible for managing projects safety, conducting job site inspections, and attending meetings to stay informed about ongoing initiatives. His expertise extends to collaborating with local water reclamation facilities in the cities of Sparks and Reno, Nevada. Mr. Saiz's work also involves building, refurbishing or updating water reclamation facilities across the Reno, Carson City, Fallon, Sparks, and Lake Tahoe areas.

Prior to his current position at K.G. Walters Construction, Mr. Saiz was the Health and Safety Manager at Neeser Construction from 2016 to 2024. His journey into the construction industry began when Jerry Neeser, founder and owner of (NCI) Neeser Construction Inc., invited him to assist with a student housing project in Reno. Starting with the civil division as a laborer, Mr. Saiz quickly advanced through various roles, eventually becoming a full-time Safety Officer due to his dedication and skills. This opportunity allowed him to transition fully into the safety sector, where he has excelled.

Mr. Saiz earned his diploma from Uintah High School in Vernal, Utah and garnered numerous certifications that underscore his commitment to safety excellence. He earned a (CHST) "Construction Health and Safety Technician" certification from the (BCSP) Board of Certified Safety Professionals in 2022, received OSHA 30-hour construction from LP Insurance Services in 2018, and became a qualified compliance inspector and preparer of stormwater pollution prevention plans through StormwaterONE in 2017. Additionally, Mr. Saiz completed the S.C.A.T.S "Safety and Health Practitioner" program in 2020, the (USACE) U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers EM 385-1-1 certification in 2024, and (PTI) Post-Tensioning Institute Level 1 Unbonded PT Installer in 2024. These qualifications have been instrumental in his ability to maintain high safety standards on all projects.

Mr. Saiz's involvement with industry-related organizations, such as the (ASSP) American Society of Safety Professionals and the Nevada Chapter (AGC) Associated General Contractors since 2022, further highlights his dedication to professional development. Beyond his professional achievements, he is actively involved in civic organizations, where he generously donates to his local Christian Church.

Throughout his career, Mr. Saiz has been recognized for his outstanding contributions and commitment to safety and health. He received the S.C.A.T.S. "Safe Partner Award" from Nevada's Safety Consultation and Training Section in 2020 for a project with Neeser Construction. Neeser Construction was one of only four recipients selected from a pool of 80,000 employers statewide for this award. Furthermore, Mr. Saiz has been honored with multiple "Best Safety Record" awards from the (AGC) Associated General Contractors of Nevada between 2019 and 2024 in collaboration with his previous and current employer K.G. Walters Construction.
