In addition to her primary role at Lexitas Pharma Services Inc., Ms. Hecht is also the founder and chief executive officer of JTH Consulting & Associates, a consultancy she established in 2018 that provides strategic guidance to organizations within the life sciences sector. She has been a non-executive director at Veeda Clinical Research since 2021, AutoCruitment since 2022, JCCT since 2023, and Castor since 2023. Her investment interests include Ripple Science since 2021 and BEKHealth since 2022. Since 2008, she has served as chief executive officer and founding owner of Cassidy Investment Partners LLC, where she oversees investment strategies in real estate.
Ms. Hecht's expertise is further recognized through her advisory roles. She has been an industry advisory board member at Rho since 2021 and previously contributed as a non-executive director at Pro-ficiency from 2020 to 2024 and MMS from 2022 to 2023. At Median Technologies, Ms. Hecht was chief operating officer and board member from 2016 to 2018.
Ms. Hecht's tenure at IQVIA (formerly Quintiles) marked a pivotal period in her career. As senior vice president, global head of site and patient networks from 2014 to 2016, she led global initiatives in clinical trial operations. From 2012 to 2014, she was senior vice president, global head of sales. Notably, as vice president, head of Asia sales and strategic planning from 2010 to 2012, she pioneered business development efforts in Asia, growing sales from $7 million to almost $1 billion within just 18 months—a milestone that established her as a leading commercial-minded executive in her field. This achievement remains one of her most significant professional accomplishments. She also played a key role in setting up new business lines and partnering with early-stage companies to achieve major growth milestones during her time at IQVIA.
Prior to her tenure at IQVIA, Ms. Hecht was vice president of sales and marketing at Decision Biomarkers from 2005 to 2007. She began her career in regulatory affairs as regulatory affairs officer at the University of North Carolina Oncology Protocol Office from 1999 to 2000 after serving as senior regulatory associate there from 1998 to 1999 and a records management administrator at Parke-Davis in Ann Arbor in 1998. Her professional journey began in education as a teacher for intermediate school students at ASSETS School for the Gifted/Dyslexic Student in Hawaii from 1995 to 1998 before transitioning into regulatory affairs.
Throughout her distinguished career, Ms. Hecht has developed expertise in full-service ophthalmic clinical trial development and leadership within pharmaceutical and med-tech innovation, an achievement that reflects her commitment to advancing patient care through science-driven solutions.
Ms. Hecht's academic background includes a Master of Business Administration earned from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor in 2007 following completion of a bachelor's degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1995. She further enhanced her credentials by obtaining a certificate of project management from the Project Management Institute in 2021.
